  • When the guy talks nonstop through the whole video. If that's your thing then go for it and enjoy but it just makes the whole thing difficult to enjoy for me. The guy always sounds like some neckbeard who is getting laid for the first time in his life and thinks he's supposed to recite every cringe line from every bad porn he's ever seen.   • Literally every law in human history is "something somebody dreamt up and others went along with". That's how laws get made.

    So he's basically saying laws don't matter to him and he will do whatever he wants whenever he wants to whomever he feels like.

  • It's all just more of the MAGA crowds overwhelming need to "own the libs" at all costs. It's kind of like the flat earth movement. It started off as a joke perpetuated by a bunch of trolls with nothing better to do, but once it grew to a certain point a bunch of people joined in who were too stupid to understand that it wasn't supposed to be this serious. Now everyone in power is too embarrassed to try and undo any of the harm so they're all just doubling down even though they know it's all bullshit because they'd rather everyone think they were right even if it destroys society than to ever admit they might have made a mistake.

  • I've had a few miracle burgers. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. It just kind of tasted like a mediocre fast food hamburger. I don't eat burgers that often anymore so when I do have one I want it to be really good so I probably won't get another one unless there's some great innovation in plant based meat in the future.

    I suppose it accomplishes its goal in that it does taste like a hamburger, just not a particularly great one

    I kinda feel like the name is part of the problem there. If someone says they're serving me something called a "miracle" burger the expectation created is that it will taste exceptionally good, or at least better than average

  • I'm 43 and I just got my first pair about 4 months ago. It took me about 2 weeks to get used to them but it still throws me off a little now and then. I apparently had a number of vision issues I had just been stubbornly dealing with without realizing it lol I don't get splitting headaches every day now so I call it a win

  • Have you tried fumigation? Like bug bombs or getting an exterminator to do it professionally? You might have to leave your house for a couple of days but it would attack all of them at once that way

  • I can't fathom the idea of a multi billion dollar corporation having an employee arrested over $110 worth of fruit cups and chicken. It's not like he was the mastermind behind an embezzlement scam or anything. Just fire the kid and take the $110 out of his last check.

    Aside from it just being a shitty thing to do I would think the terrible PR from such a thing would be enough for them to not want to cause a whole scandal about it.

    The smug look on that managers face makes the whole thing 100 times more disgusting.

    Edit: it appears that this manager knew about the small thefts for months and never once gave the employee any type of warning or corrective action. They actually watched him and waited over multiple months for these minor incidents to FINALLY add up to over $100 so that they could have him arrested. Apparently they cannot involve law enforcement until the theft reaches a certain amount.

    Clearly this manager just gets off on this sort of thing and never cared about the theft or the employee
