  • Metal Gear Solid does a little bit of that lol. I do not want to spoil OneShot as it's entirely plot-heavy, but it does have what you're talking about at a major plot point.

  • Imagine all the energy it costs to fuel money: all the bank vaults, all the armored cars, the security staff, all the numerous 24/7 backup systems... You don't have an argument if you're implying that fiat is better. The only leveler of the playing field would be bartering or no currency, like the native Americans did.
