It is not as overwhelming as you make it sounds, you don't need to read the whole changelog every time you update just check Arch news page and they state any manual action an update might need.
I run arch since like 1 y and I almost never had to do such manual actions. You can see on archlinux.org news it's not that bad although I can totally see why it is not suitable for most people
I didn't make any choice I'm French lol.
I'm just explaining to you how it works, you can keep blaming ppl for not voting rather than politics for not having actual program that make people vote for them. That way you make sure to not hold politics accountable after all they can do whatever they want and do nothing as long as the guy in front of them say worse shit. Just look where you went until now
You're blaming voter for not voting one for one of the political parties that is precisely the corrupt entrenched power structure you are mentionning ... Then stating election don't fix shit but still blaming ppl for not voting for Democrat ?
ICJ is international law and as all international instance have no power in any country. This make no sense nor does this joke of a tribunal have any power in China aswell.
Justification from their site on why they don't go to International Court of Justice:
'There is no such possibility not least because China/the PRC, although a signatory to and ratifier of the Genocide Convention, has entered a reservation against ICJ jurisdiction.'
