Well I don’t live in the US, so yeah I know. Anyway, my point is that “easier” is subjective and very much based on a person’s experience.
I’ve looked up UTC compared to my time many times and it just doesn’t stick. I don’t know what the current UTC time is but I could tell you what time it is in Newfoundland no problem. 🤷♂️
Mine are more like, “How much longer do I need to keep doing this?” as I get up and get ready for the day.
I’ve been working at this for 6 years after going through rehab. I’ve been clean since, but decided to deal with the depression using the tools they gave me instead of using medication.
I don’t want to die, but even after changing careers and becoming “my own boss,” (you’re never your own boss) I still have no enthusiasm for living.
Seriously. Can we stop fucking subsidizing oil? Solar is cheap now. The free market would handle the transition if we were weren’t giving them tax dollars.
It’s how movie stars can argue they’re worth million-dollar salaries. They can point to movies with their faces and say “without my face you wouldn’t have made as much money.”
We can have that too, if we create and participate in good unions that can get access to that kind of information and negotiate for us.
I never upgraded from the Xbox One X and haven’t once felt like I’ve missed anything this entire generation.
My next console will be either a steam deck or just a living room PC running Linux.
It’s not in the budget right now though, so it depends what’s available when I decide to pull the trigger
