  • Do I have to expect a Copyright Strike?

  • iknowwhatyoudownload.com is pretty unreliable. It lists some torrents downloaded from that IP and then likes to add some torrents (mostly porn in my experience). I've tested this with many connections over the years, and it's not just sharing/rotating IP addresses that triggers this.

    (My use case for iknowwhatyoudownload.com is mostly to see what public torrents other people have in their seedboxes.)

    Also, I wouldn't worry too much in Germany unless you're downloading the latest YTS release or something. There are a few horror stories out there about being sued, but they are mostly exaggerated and not recent. That said, your setup sounds very solid and you should still use a VPN.

  • I've personally encountered some hybrid torrents on public trackers. Even if you only have the v1 hash, your client fetches the information of the v2 version from compatible clients, which is pretty neat. Maybe this was done by people trying to promte v2, but it is more likely that they used qBittorrent to create thier torrent, since if you use the newest version, the default option when creating a new torrent is to create a hybrid torrent.

  • You could embed the videos via WebTorrent and simply seed the torrents from elsewhere.

    Webtorrents can simply be played in the browser, there is an example on their website.

    Better publish the torrents elsewhere, so that you have more peers. Use a VPN or a seedbox provider (those ignore DMCAs for the most part) to seed yourself.

  • I'm gonna suggest two animes too:

    Baccano! Non-linear storytelling, 1930s Chicago, and mostly on a train. Fantastic 12 episode anime (no need to watch the OVAs they are mostly an extended epilogue).

    Akudama Drive: Fantastic cyberpunk, action. Awesome characters. 12 Episodes long and complete.

    Note: I see OP's (closed), but I don't see them recommended often and both are only 12 episodes long and complete and extremely good.

    With a sickly wheeze, the last of the man's life is ejected from his body. He lies on the floor, cold and limp. I've womansplained him to death.

  • This is being attributed to Jim Trotter, but I can't find a source for this claim. I can't even find when he is supposed to have said it…It was definitely said in Mr. Robot (2015), and it was definitely not said in the movie The Skulls (2000), no one in that entire movie ever says "bank", despite what some people on reddit claim.

    According to this blog post, the oldest tweet is from 28 Nov 2011 @Bonoboism.

    Maybe someone else can find a better source.

  • I currently can't find, if patreon videos work correctly (I seem to remember they do). For other services they work. Most people simply upload unlisted to youtube or on mega or some on vimeo with patreon integration.For the ones on vimeo use the following yt-dlp command:

  • Nun habe ich die eigentliche pdf von ipsos, welche taz.de zu faul war zu verlinken, überflogen. (Hier ist der Link zum Artikel von ipsos, um zur pdf zu kommen muss man ein paar gelogene Sachen angeben (die Mail wird nicht abgefragt)).

    In Deutschland ist die Stichprobe rund 1000 Leute (16-74 Jahre). Wie aussagekräftig diese Stichprobengröße jetzt ist, weiß ich auch nicht… Schnelle Suche später; ist laut den Statistiker ausssagekrätig.

    Die eigentliche Frage, um die es hier geht, war (ich konnte sie nur auf Englisch finden):

    Und ehrlich? Das würde echt auf meine Stimmung an kommen, was ich da antworte… Das richt zu sehr nach dem klassischen Trick, die Schuld von Klimawandel auf das Individium zu schieben, obwohl wir alle mehr oder weniger machtlos in Systemen gefangen sind und die Regierung lieber Däumchen dreht, statt irgendetwas wirklich zu ändern und alle Firmen so viel Treibhaus produzieren lassen, wie sie wollen. Freier Markt undso bis der Markt in Flammen steht.

    Viel beunruhingender finde ich die folgenden Ergebnisse:

    Wirklich? Deutschland soll nicht mehr gegen den Klimawandel unternehmen?Ich hab'ne tolle Idee, damit wir der Fossilbrennstoffindustrie noch so richtig in den Arsch kriechen, warum machen wir nicht besser eine Gasheizung für Neubauten verflichtend, wer brauch schon so'ne blöde Wärmepumpe, Richtgeschwindigkeit auf den Autobahnen muss natürlich 200 kmh sein und Windräder gehören verboten, die verschandeln die Landschaft, da sollte man doch besser Fracking betreiben.

  • I looked around a bit and couldn't find it…Here is a big list of Software sites, maybe some else has better luck. (Also couldn't find anything via DHT crawlers and Soulseek).

    You could try runnig it via WSL, since the Linux version is free and up-to-date.

    Ach, ich hab' vergessen, dass jede Demonstration blütenrein und unauffällig sein muss. Wenn einer in der Demonstration Vandalismus betreibt oder Bedroht sind sofort alle daran Schuld. Wenn ein Polizist einen Demonstranten zusammenschlägt? "Einzelfall"

    Ich verstehe absolut nicht, warum hier Leute der Meinung sind, man sollte Leute einfach aus Deutschland abschieben:
