It only happens if you do the optional side quest in 600 AD, where you fight the monsters in the sand pit to restore Fiona’s forest, then go back to 1000 AD and go to the shrine. I’m sorry if you missed it, it has some of my favorite moments in the game.

If you want to read the whole arc (which is one of my favorites, but I’m a weirdo), it starts with Strange Tales Vol 1 178-181, then Warlock 9 and on. Warlock issues 1-8 are from years earlier. All very confusing.
The issue 1000 Clowns is about how much Jim Starlin hated working for Marvel, it’s pretty great.
Edit: Also, this story is the first appearance of one of the Infinity Gems (the Soul Gem specifically), and ties in strongly to the Infinity Gauntlet and it’s sequel series, also written by Starlin. And the first appearance of Gamora.
Edit 2: Okay I’m crazy, Adam Warlock had the Soul Gem way earlier. This still leads into Infinity Gauntlet though.

It works great! I have only used EmuDeck, but it’s a bit complicated to set up and add games. There is also RetroDeck, but I have not used it myself. You can also just install Retroarch in Steam, but I wouldn’t recommend for games past N64/PS1 era, as there’s a bit of a performance hit compared to the dedicated emulators the others use.

Your math is off. The Moon is about 384,400 KILOmeters from the Earth, not meters. So 116,485 seconds, or a bit over 32 hours.

I once loaned my cart to a friend, and looked at their save when I got it back. They named Crono “Punk”, I think Lucca was “Glass”, and Magus was “Goth”. Sadly I don’t have the save anymore and I can’t remember the others.
Edit: Also wasn’t there a typo or something when Robo is first introduced? Like R-66Y vs R66-Y? I tried to name him correctly once but messed it up because of that.
