  • Das größere Problem dabei ist eher die Lage der Wohnungen. Zur nächsten S-Bahnstation sind es 1,5km und auch sonst ist da nicht super viel in der Nähe was Läden und ähnliches angeht. Die SAGA hat 140.000 Wohnungen, da muss man schon fragen, warum man ausgerechnet die dafür genommen hat.

  • Since the question is clearly meant to be rethorical, but it seems none obvious to me:

    • How does Slovakia, which was part of Austria.Hungary, which did not hold land outside Europe, benefit as much from colonialism as France, which had massive pieces of land?
    • The Irish claim that British rule over Ireland was a form of colonialism. So how did they benefit from that as much as the Dutch did from controlling Indonsia?
    • Why is there no difference between the size and time countries had colonial Empires at all? Germany had one for 30years or so, but Spain for centuries.

  • That is really complex. The imperialism of France is very different to that of Slovakia for example and the EU has members with everything in between.

  • I would not be surprised, if this was just meant to get subsidies for EVs. The none Chinese competition outside the EU is mostly pretty weak. Hyundai is doing well, but the Japanese do not have good EVs and the Americans only Tesla. In China the EV market is a blood bath. The companies surviving that will be strong, but who cares if the competition is called BYD or Toyota.

    Oh and most of the chaos is getting rid of combustion engine related stuff. It seems stupid to me to close those factories now, when you expect the market to be open until 2040.

  • Yeah obviously. You can pass decent laws with the center right EPP, but not with the far right. So nobody should vote with them. If they did not vote with the EPP, then the EPP probably needs right wing votes to pass things. Obviously that should not mean, that the Greens should vote for the EPP all the time, but cooperating on passing good laws is clearly in the interest of the Greens.
