I got in trouble last week because people were talking for 40min in a meeting about recball vs travel ball (kids baseball). After 5 attempts to talk about work or change topics and two attempts to talk over them... I said, "turns out i dont give a fuck about this conversation so im going to my office to work." Which didnt go over well for some reason.
What do you think will happen when someone defends the self with deadly force? Do you think these people will stop or do you think that person will end poorly?
When someone over apologizes it makes me uncomfortable and lowers my trust of them. Are they actually sorry? Is this something they do consistently and then apologize for? Are they doing it on purpose and using the apology as a means to ask forgiveness instead of permission? Is it something they should even be apologizing for? It makes me feel like they are not actually apologetic and then I dont trust their sincere apology when they legitimately apologize.
