  • Oh damn looks like I got the Two week flu. The phone doctor said the only cure is foreign beach air. Don't worry though, I'm hating every minute of it and I'll be back just as soon as I'm well again.

  • You...

You mean that in a good way right?

    RIGHT!?!

  • He's a West Point Graduate. Writing an article about the culture of the Army with an anti LGBTQ symbol and specifically calling out LGBTQ ads under previous administrations.

So no obviously he's dumb as a box of rocks and just stumbled into all of this bigotry....

  • Putin doesn't have the entirety of the two provinces he's claiming. He wants the entirety of the two provinces for a couple reasons. First it gives him a domestic win. Second it screws the Ukrainian defensive lines. Right now they are situated in a way that Russia has to fight through towns that Ukraine can fortify to make them costly. If they use the province borders, they're relatively arbitrary and Ukraine's line of defense has to be set up further back, where they can force Russia into towns again. This favors Russia because in a couple years when they finish rebuilding their military they can just take the next area and tell everyone they get to keep that in the next ceasefire.

  • Possible, and harmless to Russia since Biden's administration sanctioned pretty much everything they could already. I will not be surprised though if Trump announces he's relaxing sanctions based on a promise from Putin to consider future negotiations.

  • Waiting breathlessly for Trump's announcement that Zelensky is unwilling to talk peace and Putin is a victim...

  • That is a breath taking claim to power. If you entered on a visa of any kind they are claiming they can review that specific event and deport you no matter what your current status is.

That reporter missed a very important question, do they believe they can do this to a naturalized citizen?

  • Our safety agency actually rejected the headlights that turn off around other cars, in favor of LED lights that blind the fuck out of everyone no matter what setting you use.

That tells you everything you need to know about American "safety".

  • The glass is not bullet resistant. The doors barely qualify, if they don't have to stand up to an actual firefight.

  • They were any federal agent that volunteered. So anyone with a badge in federal employment.

  • You need to roll with a large group to have that effect. And even then the police might just drop a bomb on you.

  • YSK - You can find a Tesla protest near you by making a sign and looking for the closest Tesla Service Center/Dealer...

  • We never had allies, we barely knew those countries, they might have gotten coffee for us at some point?

    /s

  • If you guys do that take pictures and send them to America so we can put them in political ads.

  • Honestly yeah, if a paperwork fuck up can get you detained for more than 24 hours there's something seriously wrong and travelling there is dangerous for the border police alone.

  • I guarantee you they do not care. This is far more likely to be media bias. If they're detaining her for an incomplete visa instead of just turning her around then they're detaining people every day, no matter their nationality or body build. It sounds cool to think they'd be afraid of a large guy but the US police are sadly just more likely to kill them with guns.

  • And just like that Scotland's tourism numbers shot through the roof.

  • Wow I've never heard a better description of Pete Hegseth. Great job!

  • Ethically it certainly matters. But systems wise we cannot incentivize it. Which is why corrupt prosecutions are legally supposed to result in removing the conviction. She's certainly not magically a good person. And iirc most states allow another trial.
