  • I don't know where you live, but a lot of brick & mortar board game stores either run session, or know who do. Also, there 's a chronic lack of (good) DMs. If you're willing to DM then finding players should not be hard.

  • Do you know where those rules are? I'm genuinly interested in where exactly they draw the line. I constantly see people ranting about gen AI when used for art, but even simple, basic code autocomplete is AI under the hood these days. I can't imagine developers not using autocomplete.

  • X4 is great! But it's not really a flying game. You start off flying in a space ship yes, but by mid-game you it turns into a grand strategy game. You'll probably spend more time on the map screen and hire an AI pilot to do the flying for you. Still a great game though!

  • The problem isn't mygitwrapper.sh. You need to know those git commands to write that wrapper. The problem is people taking someone else's mygitwrapper.sh and using that instead of learning git.

  • The original Total War: Warhammer fantasy trilogy are by far the best TW games. And if you own multiple then you can combine them in one giant mega campaign. Definitely check them out when they are on sale.
