Yeah, there's a bunch of opinions in there being presented as facts. They are trying to push a narrative that China is more technologically advanced than the US that doesn't really reflect reality.
Increasing affordable supply will always help. The argument is that increasing supply regardless of type, does not. It's how you get empty condos being held as investments.
