  • Wut?

  • You honestly expect that I was unaware of the attack before seeing this headline? Or the common abbreviations for the state of Minnesota? Should you be quized on the spellings of US states?

Minns is an elected official. On the whim of the Elected Assembly, his name could be irrelavent to NSW tomorrow; It's far from essential knowlege to anyone outside of New South Whales, and contributes nothing to putting the headline in-context.

Headlines aren't supposed to spoil the entire story, I'll give you that, but they should include enough information for one to decide if its relavent to them.

In this case, I gathered the irrelavence of the article to me personally from the byline, and then I made a joke at my own expense and at the expense of the name of a fascist moron who wants to suppress peaceful protests. If anyone should feel bad here, its you for stanning him like his name belongs anywhere besides toilet-paper.

  • I'm not watching that. I might look-up "Keonne Rodriguez, co-founder of Samourai Wallet" at some point, but the only thing this post has going for it is that that text was available in the Video Description on youtube.

  • This is the game Trump wants them to play. The should get their client-countries and allied neighbors to do this for them. Build pipelines or transport by rail to ports in other SA countries. He might like that too, but its harder for him to escalate like-so.

  • You've offered nothing for me to need to defend against. Bye now.

  • The problem with governments is that they were designed with the merely dishonest, incompetent or greedy in-mind. They, and society, were not to designed to mitigate psycho-pathy and/or delusion - the parts that manage that at all kinda just fell-into place for other reasons, and don't work beyond the local level.

Meanwhile, the psycho-paths in-office and their psycho-pathic/socio-pathic handlers, want you to believe your psycho-pathic neighbor is the problem. You know, the one you merely suspect and label due to factors that probably amount to tribalism and what you each have been told to think?

  • Congratulations on being the second to spot the part of the lame joke that was self-deprecating and ultimately, yes, the only reason I looked at the post body/content. You too, get a cookie.

As I’ve said already, I recognised NSW in the byline and didn’t read the article as a result, before I commented.

  • You can read anything more than "Financial" in that thumbnail? Good on ya, mate.

  • Look in a mirror? Stop projecting? I've sad my peace on this forwards and backwards now, probably twice-over, sure, but ...

I blocked the other person who replied to my top-level comment before I went to work last night, replied to something much shorter I saw in-kind today, then you show up and yeah, I gave my initial reply to you more effort than it warranted because I confused your comment for canofcam's arguments taking a dive into the absurd -literally jerking-off their own ego ...

... but no, it was you. Fuck-off. I owe you nothing and wish I could take back the effort I spent replying to your low-effort shit-stirring. You've contributed nothing here and are well-into just-trying-to-create-some-drama territory.

I would be happy for you that your experiences and those of my friends(men and women) and myself have so little in common, but that gives you no right to drag me into your non-sense.

  • You just described exactly why the "tire noise is enough, you just gotta go fast" comment was so stupid, but also yours is stupid and backwards because drivers do drive faster than they should.

You can look both ways and still get hit by a car that was around the corner, just turned onto your street, or was just going that much faster than other cars or what you realized when you saw them. Tire noise is far from enough to call that out and make you look-again, in-time; Even if you keep your head on a pivot as you walk.

  • Its far from rare for men to be on the recieving end of this from women, as well.

  • Marry me.

/s, but you're so un-believably right, that it hurt to think about all the trouble and subsequent need to vent people could save themselves, but won't.

  • Looks more like virtue-signalling to me. Those out-raged aren't the intended audience, they're the punch-line.

  • Exactly what I was getting at. Often paired wonderfly with loud-ass holes in the exhaust. These people think its a joy to encounter in the wild ... try driving it. Trust me, the driver wishes walking, bike-riding, bus-riding, car-pooling, whatever, were viable for their situation, almost certainly more than you do.

  • Met them on their own moral-high-ground/maturity-vs-immaturity playing-field?

Look, I'm not trying to get them to admit I'm completely right. I don't even assert that I am. I'm asking them to check me, which inevitably leads to checking-one's-self, unless they're beyond help. Until I'm certain someone's beyond help, I'll mock them, stoop to their level, whatever it takes to shock them into looking in the mirror with something other than certainty and pride in their flawless facade. Ideally, I'm the kind of person who prefers to be proven wrong, particularly about the shitty aspects of like ...

... but still, that requires substantiation. All they've done here, and now you, is sling mud, and when it comes to pigeons and chess-boards, I occassionally find myself with the time, identifying with the Goodfeathers for shits and giggles.

Don't confuse me for thinking I'm better than y'all, or trying exempt myself from the facts about boys(most of what separates me from them is decades, I know), but don't tell me their metaphorical asses and dingle-berries aren't hanging-out for the world to see in this thread eaither.

  • Small-scale gas power is disgustingly cheap and easy to get a permit for.

That said, it doesn't help that data-centers have been confused for the sort of thing that belongs in/near city-limits - there's limitted room, so solar/wind become difficult, and no city wants to permit a nuclear generator in its domain.

I am all-for banning new natural-gas build-out as well, but I approached this issue here from the state level first, since the article said Illinois, not just Chicago ...

... and again, Pritzker is not to be confused for an ally of the environment or the people, at least not where those conflict with AI and "Quantum Tech". He'll just say his constituents need to use less power at the individual/household level. For goddsakes, pressure the hell out of him, threaten to primary him or whatever, on balcony solar, net metering, and basically every solution that's been brought-up in response to this post.

  • Again, did I call this a uniquely Australian problem? Did I even mention Australia in my initial comment? Claim Brittain had a monopoly on it? In all honesty, I don't even follow any (national)US News communities - I have no need to, because even the unimportant US shit is all-but-unavoidable across almost every community or outlet.

Okay, admit it. Emulating tabloids is just tre highbrow and suffering complaints about it from such as myself is below your station.

Here, something of mine for you to chew-on, pick-apart, stab me with, whatever, since I besmirched your beautifully sincere and authentic local media outlet that isn’t ape-ing a behavior that pervades western-media in-general to your detriment and mine, at all.
