  • I'm stuck on the AI photo one. If I was a robot I could probably figure it out.

    Level 37: Imposters

  • Could be worse I guess, right /u/SatansMaggotyCumFart

  • I used ICQ in the min-late 90's in the Midwest US.Never had AIM or AOL.

  • Same. Too much extra crap I'll never use. Their hardware is phenomenal though. If they offered a vanilla android option, I'd give up my pixel and switch over.

  • Isn't LW hosted in Europe?

  • I can't figure out if I live in Breaking Bad, Vegas, or San Francisco.

  • Nicely done!

I always liked the pure white build.I have been wanting to do one of my own.I always found it classy. I'm not a huge fan of the over-the-top RBG builds.

I've been putting off my own build because, while I have the money, I don't have the time to game as much as I want to.#oldpeopleproblems

  • I got a 4/28 and got told I would have scored higher if I guessed at random. Ouch. (I am not a dev)

  • Far fewer people know that 0° and 100° in Fahrenheit also correspond to specific real-world values. 0°F corresponds to a temperature where a brine is made of equal parts ice, water, and ammonium chloride. Such a brine, interestingly, is a frigorific mixture, meaning that it stabilizes to a specific temperature regardless of the temperature that each component started at. Thus, it makes for a really nice laboratory-stable definition of a temperature. Similarly, 100°F was initially set at "blood heat" temperature, or the human body temperature. While not super precise, it was a fairly stable value. As good as anything in the early 1700s.

  • I think the brine probably froze at 0° F, which ended up correlating to 32° F for regular water. And the body temperature at 100° F ended up correlating to 212° F for water to boil. That's the way I understand it anyway.

  • Me too apparently...

  • Unfortunately for mine, that stubborn son of a bitch is still hanging around into his 80's, while the rest of his miserable family had the decent common courtesy to kick it in their 60's & 70's. I went no contact about a decade ago, but I still get to hear how much of a piece of shit he is from the rest of the family.

The only positive that came from him is that I turned out to be a better father than he did. I have a good relationship with my nearly adult kids.

  • It was great until the Dev abandoned it. It hasn't been updated in 15 months. 😡 😭

  • I sort of fit that category. I am aware of self-hosting, even somewhat interested. But I know absolutely nothing about it, and if I'm being honest, too lazy to research it.

Truthfully, I haven't owned my own PC/Laptop in over a decade. I just use the one I get from work if I need to do something on a computer. I preferred gaming on a PS4/5 so I could just relax on the couch with a controller instead of sitting in a chair at a desk. I recently got a steam deck and love it. I want to poke around desktop mode some more so I can get more familiar with Linux.

  • Looks like she/he needs some chapstick. 😁

  • Sweet pic
