Read the Jesus parts again. Would Jesus like that?

  • Maybe Governors need to deploy the National Guard to watch the "Texas" Nation Guard.

I really hope the next states to have the "Texas" National Guard deployed have a better plan than lawsuits. Maybe have all National Guard personnel reviewing unlawful orders, or learning to have conflicts so they cannot deploy, or something.

  • While this is not good, it is good that wage theft is being reported. As nothing makes it to the news without someone pointing it out to reporters, this is a strong signal from those involved that that everyone in Texas should call their representative to complain about the investigators needing more funding.

It is a signal to everyone NOT in Texas to not go there.

  • Me too!

And I quickly found out why everyone else had left. (The job after was good though.)

  • Democrats shouldn't clean this up. Give the people the things we want. National Health Insurance, Free Childcare (with providing individuals paid well), well paid teachers, UBI, and gun control/legalizing grenades and high explosives.

  • I think there are some legal limits to who can call a general strike and NOT go to prison. (Kind of doesn't matter right now, as one can go to prison for being seen by the wrong people.)

  • That one! I sure hope it includes that nifty statue of Epstein and Trump. That would really make a statement.

  • This is really it. They notice the bright thing in the dark sky, but not the large thing in the bring sky with the really bright thing.

  • I likely ordered it. So thank the waiter and start eating.

    I can read a menu.

  • This is how actual criminals get let out of jail incorrectly.

Edit: "This" being overfilling the jails with non-serious criminals and/or non-criminals.

  • Yes. With rechargeable batteries, or some obvious way to change the batteries.

Do be certain to advertise them here, so that I am aware these are even for sale. Or take preorders for my shoe size. (Why in the hell is everything NOT a preorder these days?)

  • Given the number of people that think the Sun orbits the Earth and that the Moon is never out in the day time, this would be a good idea. It doesn't even need to be deep. Just random science facts.

As an aside, I want to buy a billboard in town and post science facts.

  • Anything than to have to fix my life.

I don't shower as I don't want the females to think I am gay. I don't read, study, or try so I am not a nerd. I work a deadend job to prove I am "self made". I avoid the "roids", the gym, and exercising, which saves me so much time.

  • Lotteries avoid issues with the deciding committee handing these to their friends.

To an extent, it also can provide better data on outcomes. Instead of biasing for the most motivated, it includes a wider pool, so of whom may otherwise be seen as "unworthy". Then people do people things.

  • Oh no! It is a mimic! Roll for initiative.

  • Is there a GIF of this video? I want to share it around without linking to the original or a whole news article.

(In general, I think Trumps Twitter page posts need to be easy to share around so that people can easily see the filth produced by the man, and not the cleaned up new bites.)

  • How horrific.

  • I cannot read the article, but this seems like a non-issue.

Loads of old Wikipedia pages are essentially complete. Just freeze them.

And didn't the Wikipedia foundation have years worth of funding already? And wouldn't fewer visitors imply less need for server and bandwidth?

Current events need editors, and those will have controversy. I expect primary news sources would be better for anything less than a week old.

A Wikipedia that freezes at 2024 would still be of great value.

Clearly, I am missing the problem.

  • Outside of literal mobs, is that true?

I get that groups of people make stupid decisions, especially committees. However, that seems more like "compromising to pointlessness" and redirecting energy away from useful action, than a "mob mentality".
