According to "The Dawn of Everything" by David Graeber and David Wengrow, if one were in the Americas, it could have been pretty okay. Depending on the tribe, a selfish person could have been exiled and many people's competed to be generous.
Rousseau and the European Enlightenment struggling against the weight of the Catholic Church, may have presented an overly negative view on life long ago. (Source is also "The Dawn of Everything".)
ElectroBoom (Youtube) made some points about Australia's Type I. Seems it was very hard for him to electrocute himself. Lots of breakers on the outlets. I mean he did electrocute himself, but he was always going to.
Interestingly, the tree looks different. I wonder if they intentionally keep the tree small and swap it periodically. (Hopefully sending the old tree to a nice farm upstate.)
Interesting theory, but it seems that would increase insurance rates for the contractors wildly. This would need to be a "one and done" for each contractor.

Despite this, Lang's passport of the time showed that he traveled to and from Germany throughout 1933.
Strangely, I don't feel my priorities are reflected in any budget passed during my lifetime, and so I don't feel the need to donate. I say "strangely", as I tend to follow Socrates' thoughts on the matter. Just not here. Guess my limits are low.
Good on OP. "Traditional Girl" is stupid. Most women in history were in tribes and ... well, I am not certain what they did. Camp fire cooking and berry picking. Some hunting. Not a lot of vacuuming or microwaving.
