  • My issue with this, is why didn't all those child labourers 50-100 years ago regress to childhood then? So incredibly many children forced into becoming an adult and working from a very young age, but they didn't start inviting kids into their beds just to have a sleepover.

  • Tbh I don't really care much about trans people, in the same way I don't give a fuck about the person living 3 streets away that I don't know. I don't understand why people give a shit what someone else wants to be called, or wether they want a dick, vagina, tits or a funky mix. It doesn't negatively affect anyone's life in any way, so I see no reason to negatively affect theirs.

    Religious nutjobs and authoritarian cunts are the people negatively affecting other people's lives. And so their lives needs to be equally negatively affected for true balance in the world.

    I guess like a kind of karma, only I don't believe any force of nature will take care of it, so people must do it instead.

  • Vi kan nok hurtigt blive enige om at ukrainerne er blevet pænt godt integreret i vores samfund. Jeg vil mene at det overvældende skyldes at de har haft god mulighed for, og vilje til at blive en del af det danske arbejdsmarked, som er en stor del af mange voksnes sociale færd. På arbejdsmarkedet lærer de hvordan man befærder sig (værtfald så længe man arbejder med danskere, og ikke bare bliver kastet i et job som rengøringsdame og skal støvsuge forladte kontormiljøer efter normal arbejdstid), de lærer hvordan vi kulturelt gør tingene her i landet, og de får muligheden for at bidrage til samfundet, noget jeg mener er noget langt de fleste raske mennesker i bund og grund er interesseret i. Noget som vi også i høj grad har afholdt asylansøgere fra, i et forsøg fra blandt andet Dansk Folkeparti på at ødelægge integrationen fra starten af. Noget vi droppede da Ukraine blev angrebet, men kun for ukrainske flygtninge.

    Hvis vi kigger på statistikken fra DST, har indiske mænd end højere beskæftigelsesgrad end danske mænd. Ergo, flere indiske mænd vil ifølge statistikken færdes socialt i samfundet. Der er færre kvinder i arbejde, noget som også ses hos de ukrainske kvinder, dog ikke ligeså slemt. Det skyldes naturligvis kulturelle forskelle, men som nævnt ovenfor, er min påstand at kulturelle forskelle vil udlignes igennem det sociale.

    Min påstand er i bund og grund at inderne igennem arbejde, hvilket statistikken viser at de meget gerne vil have så længe de får mulighederne for det, vil blive liberale europæiske borgere. Det er dog vigtigt at nævne at studier som f.eks. den her fra AAU understreger vigtigheden af at man ikke bare arbejder med andre fra sit eget hjemland, men at man naturligvis skal arbejde tæt sammen med danskere før det sociale har nogen indvirkning.

  • Jeg blev gift på rådhuset (eller nærmere advokathuset). Det tog vanvittigt meget af opmærksomheden væk fra alt det seriøse, og flyttede det over på selve fejringen i stedet. Vi havde 2 vidner med til advokaten, hvorefter vi blev kørt hjem til festen hvor vi så havde vores egen lille ceremoni, og så var det ellers bare hygge, fest og god mad resten af dagen/natten. Det kommer selvfølgelig an på hvad man er til, men for os som par og mennesker virkede det langt mere afslappende. Det gjorde det også nemmere for vores gæster at de ikke skulle lede efter en kirke et eller andet sted, og så bruge en time på at synge salmer, som ingen i familien giver noget for alligevel.

They have done a few things that are dangerous because actual fascists can abuse it, but that doesn't make them fascist, just fucking idiots.

  • While 7 days was tumultous at best, they've reached a pretty good point by now.

    I do agree with you though, that having a proper direction and being clear about that direction to your fanbase makes for a much better early access period.

    Like The Culling which completely ruined their own game because the devs thought they should move in one direction, but their fans and players thought the plan was completely different, having bought the game with a completely different direction in mind.

    In the end though, having played quite a few good early access games, releasing a game in early access by Larian is fucking cheap. They have plenty money to make a full release without the early access injection. I see no reason why a succesfull studio like them would need it. Early access is fine for smaller devs. For some it could mean the difference between a hobby project and a full time job.

  • I tried Mint about a year ago, and one of the things I really didn't like was having to get my software from some appstore. It seemed very limited. I'd much rather just be able to download an executable and install it that way. Feels like I have more control over what I can actually use my pc for.
