  • I've found a company where the leadership genuinly respect their employees, and trust them enough that if someone needs a day off to go to the doctor, or needs to work from home because their car is in the shop, there's simply no question about it. If someone is sick, then they're sick until they're no longer sick and show up to work again.

    This means I am more than happy to help my boss with an urgent issue until 5 pm on a friday if it's needed, because I know he values it, and I know I'm not getting any complaints if I have to leave at 12 pm the next friday to go to the dentist.

    If leaders cared about their workers, their workers would care about their jobs and actually do more than the bare minimum, because if you give some, you get some.

    Kamala got more votes than any democratic candidate has ever gotten, how does play into the whole "they didn't vote"? The reality is though, that Trump was much better at getting people to vote, both by number, but also by location. Trump spent 4 years terrifying people into thinking if they didn't vote for him, the democrats would murder babies everywhere and unleash millions of rapists upon the country. Obviously none of that was true, but enough people thought it was to terrify them into voting, because they've spent the past 18-50 years being brainwashed by fascists.

  • Min tanke er lidt at et forbud også vil ændre på folks afslappede forhold til bomber. Det vil naturligvis ikke ske fra et år til det næste, men hvis folk ikke længere ser fyrværkeri som noget børn leger med imens en fuld far står og snakker med sine gæster i periferien, men i stedet ser det som hvad det er, bomber, kan det være at det ændrer lidt ved kulturen omkring at antænde sprængstof op ad folks hoveddøre.

  • klokken 19 d. 24. hørte jeg det første batteri blive skudt af her i Hjørring. Hvem fanden fejrer jul ved at skyde fyrværkeri af?

    Derudover er der de 50 kanonslag jeg hører hver aften i øjeblikket. Nu ved jeg så ikke hvordan kanonslag faktisk bliver lavet, om det er noget børn selv laver hjemmefra, eller om det faktisk er fyrværkeri de køber og propper i postkasser, eller om det er ren og skær ulovlig import, men det ville virkelig undre mig hvis ikke et forbud imod fyrværkeri ikke samtidig ville sænke antallet af smadrede postkasser og andet i december/januar.
