She/Her - Was bullied off reddit by mean moderators, but it's a corporation anyway - 🏳️‍⚧️

- Pro kindness|gressiveness, Anti cruelty|bullshit.

  • Ashton fucking Kutcher, huh. Wild timeline.

  • Github is great but it's owned by Microsoft. If that alone doesn't dissuade you, their integration of their Copilot AI to speed up the creation of vibe-coded projects might. This latest change would.

Luckily there is at least one FOSS alternative, codeberg.org. Its base, Forgejo, is self-hostable, therefore security is in your hands.

  • I recognise that ReMarkable is top tier rn for eReading, but £350 is uncomfortably high for me. Roughly 50 physical books' worth before buying any books.

Worth it if you have the money to spare.

  • it can still function by connecting to nearby open networks, or perhaps even someone just walking by with a phone that it can piggyback off of.

I was worried some corporation would create a product that does this. The best option then would be to trash it.

  • Best thing to do is vote with your wallet - don't buy Amazon e-commerce if you don't support them. It's worth noting that the vast majority of their value comes from AWS, but there's little we can do about that.

It can't phone home if it isn't powered, that's for sure. You can always set up a PiHole or AdGuard Home instance and route traffic from the doorbell to keep an eye on it, and block any domains it tries to access that you don't need. Or disable its WAN access entirely.

  • But browsers have a marker for dangerous sites - surely Cloudflare, Amazon or Google should have a report system and deliver warnings at the base

  • #JustHowl'sMovingCastleThingsSeriously though, Howl is a very dateable crow

  • Tfw transwomen and Muslims aren't the most at risk of legal murder in the UK, it's cyclists.

  • Better dead than Gentile, eh. Fuck Israel

  • Ah yeah, phone is a frequent sync with FolderSync, including deletions, and USB is a manual backup. A rental VPS is a good idea..

  • I would (hate|love) to see one of our setups built with 1980's tech. Imagine the yellowed white (and red) boxes and bulky everything

  • I wonder if routing it through FlareSolverr isn't a solution.

  • What do you use for 3-2-1? I try, so far I have my phone, backed up to a server HDD via SMB (Too poor for RAID-1 atm), and the very important stuff sent to a USB drive and returned to a drawer. Am I doing it right haha

  • The general knowledge of prefixes, suffixes and sentence structure of the language families/subgroups, in order to better grasp a basic understanding of a common language when I encounter it, and be more respective - for example knowing when to use -kun, Fraulein, señora, and courteous actions native to the locale

  • 'Member when all insane folk had to ramble to was the wall of their abode, perhaps a leashed parsnip? Pepperidge Farm remembers. Pepperidge Farm is alive today because of a discount Justin Timberlake.

  • No, the article is about sharing files between Android and iPhone. It is the topic.

  • I never said AirDrop, I said quick sharing, and it's OnePlus. They've been integrating themselves with Apple for a while

  • Thank you! This one. I submitted an entry, simply explaining why I wanted to win, and I was one of 100 chosen :3
