  • You can pick up any plastic headset that fits your phone for $25-40/£20-30. FWIW I heard Destek are good and bought one. They go through versions so it seems they're in V5 now (Amazon link). Gotta try and keep the lenses of whichever headset you choose oil, dust and hair free when you close it so a microfibre cloth is highly recommended, or a sock.

    Way, WAY back you used to be able to have a ratchet VR setup. Using TrinusVR, paired with the mobile app and desktop app, I was able to play Minecraft Java (and any other standard game) in VR, as well as Subnautica in VR mode. No need to drop £800 on a true VR rig.

    Good news: TrinusVR still exists!

  • YouTube is a little bitch with 3D. A workaround to YT removing the dedicated VR button is to build a playlist with one (preferably short) 180° or 360° video, followed by all the ones you want to watch. Must in this order:

    • disable autorotate
    • manually full-screen
    • activate 3D mode
    • place phone in headset
    • bonus: get comfortable, and get the video in the correct position by pressing the interactive button. If it's askew you need to look away and press to move it, then rest and press again.

  • Iirc Samsung are going to make a VR headset, along with a $30 headset that takes a phone. $30 is on par with loads of step-ups from Cardboard - plastic. They're not OSFA (one size fits all) though, at this point you need one that can take seven inches

Some episodes switched around for foreign distribution, some removed, and two seasons put into one, making the entire ordering one season and three episodes off. Had to manually edit nearly everything after Sonarr tagged them because Sonarr used the UK tvdb ordering iirc (the UK removed a couple episodes) but my source used Japan (scene) and Emby used US tvdb. Something like that

  • Short answer - no. 80% at most. But when that hair doesn't grow back after each session - you'll notice.

    Like Ada said - they and I have the Goldilocks complexion for laser, dark hair and light skin. My transition has been largely out of the NHS's pocket and I was granted 8 sessions. The clinic guessed 70-90% coverage given my skin and hair tones and they were accurate by the end at ~80%.I'd say 12 initial or two blocks of 8 are perfect, and I've also heard that electrolysis for what laser doesn't get is a good option.

    Finally - epilation, plucking or shaving for the rest. I choose to epilate now because ripping the fuckers out leaves my skin much smoother for longer. Mid-high pain threshold needed.

  • I was wrong about Germany, the main issue over there is the AfD party, but it seems the public are vehemently opposed to them. Denmark, however, is the current presidential leader of the EU, and is speedrunning Chat Control before their term ends. Normally these kinds of votes must be unanimous, but it wasn't -- yet Denmark is continuing to implement it.
