  • I'd recommend Barrier over wireless/Bluetooth switching.

    It's in the package manager too. You just glide your mouse across to the decks display as though it were a second screen and your keyboard and mouse work seamlessly there. Alternatively you can switch with a keyboard shortcut.

  • I suppose what I mean is that from a Government perspective, evidence points to all kinds of shit being forgivable if the platform is big enough.

    Hell arguably, aside from replacing Digg, being the wild west of forums is what gave Reddit the volume of audience that would guarantee it the likes of Obama.

    I know we're not on Reddit now but the final nail in the coffin that got us all here was API changes to Reddit killing third party clients, not it's history that came before that.

    Seems that if a site is big enough shit like this doesn't matter.

  • If it's anything it'll probably be age verification at point of sale for the VPN for retail VPN providers. Pay with a credit card kinda deal. I know that's not ideal, hell none of it is, but I think it's how steam dealt with it and that worked OK.

  • Personally i can't get onboard with aliens when the rest of the series is cemented in the religious supernatural. The two genres are mutually exclusive in my head.

    That said I do get that aliens are the pop culture thing in the timeframe where that film was set so the decision makes sense. Execution was just piss poor.

  • I don't think the corporations see it as being brought to heel, generally speaking. It's like net neutrality; those who are already big will thrive because they can afford to implement the govs requirements while the littler guys can't afford it and will just pull out of the UK.

    At least what will be how it is while the government scrambles to unfuck themselves for the young persons vote in the next election.

  • I think the bigger issue is that Tesla might be diminishing the drivers impression of their vehicle responsibility with their marketing/presentation of auto pilot.

    I say that knowing very little about what it's like to use auto pilot but if it is the case that there are changes that can be made that will result in less deaths then maybe the guys lawyer has a point.

  • Really the bit people seem to be missing the mark on, is whether or not my changing the region on my account will also pull my children across with me and in turn let me redeem the code on my sons account.

    From research, I think it will but just really looking for confirmation.

  • Thanks again, but that's still not quite the scenario I'm describing. This isn't a code for a balance, its a code for a game. So there will be no issues on it being positive balance or not. Also while it isn't possible to do it on your own while having a balance, that are plenty of reports online of Nintendo doing it via support.

  • I loved my steam deck, but it was too chunky for me and certainly for my kid.

    My compromise is Anbernic type devices. Long battery life, better form factor, lots of ported games too.

  • I know you weren't asking me, but I think the humour lies in how Elon would hate this on account of him being bigoted.

    It's not "haha he's gay" but rather rather that he's a fool who is too much of a snow flake and anti anything not straight, to not be offended by this. Also to add something about how Melania's perceived to be treated by Trump, well that's Elon now.
