  • Not in this case. I have a pair of Pixel Buds A that I've been using as well and they don't exhibit the same issue. I don't think it's hardware related, it's definitely software. Doing a restart usually fixes the issue when it rears its head.

  • Whoever decided to use dark patterns at to trick users into activating backup on photos while just trying to browse their Pixel just added to my chaos pile today.

  • And when it happens, you can't remove the photos from your backup without deleting it from all of your devices, forcing you to keep the backup if it's a photo you like.

    I'm not pleased. I did the same thing too not too long ago and now I'm sitting at 90% capacity

  • This is the first graduation that has hit me hard. I've been a long time fan of Fauna, but last year I was going through an extremely stressful time. Fauna and Ironmouse were a source of a lot of comfort for me during that time.

    This is actually devastating for me. I hope she makes another debut in some capacity, but her model was one of my favorites in Hololive.

    I would have expected this from Gura, but Fauna just came out of nowhere.

    Fuck, this hurts.

  • Yeah my mom convinced me to trade-in my 8 and just get the Pro model.

    I have/had a 6, but the battery became extra spicy and I haven't gotten around to getting a replacement.

    My Pixel 2 is still happily kicking though, no swelling and still turns on. Though the battery doesn't last long at all.

    They quoted like $450-$490 for my Pixel 8, but I imagine it's going to be even less as the screen is still flashing green. Even though they're doing warranty replacements on the P8 because of that, I'm betting they're going to use it as an excuse to slash the value off the trade-in.

  • Yeah it's absolutely awful. I haven't checked out the trade-in pricing. I haven't ever tried that before, I was considering trading in my pixel 8, but I like having a spare in case something happens to my main phone and it needs to be repaired.

    But yes, I agree it is a bad look.

  • Agreed. I desperately wanted a Pixel phone with 1TB, when I saw that not only is the Pro available in a normal size model this year, BUT with a 1TB option I got excited...until I saw that it adds $500 to the base price of the phone, bringing it to a whopping $1499.

    I'm gonna wait and see what the pricing looks like on Black Friday. I was originally wanting to keep my Pixel 8 until support ran out, but I'm already over half full on my 256gb, and my screen is having the green screen issues. I know I can get it warrantied, but the 1tb normal sized Pro is just a tempting option.

    I am worried that fans may get a little over eager with wanting them to play again. During one of Fauna's recent streams, she expressed concern about how passionate the Dark Souls fanbase was and that she wouldn't be able to live up to their expectations, making her apprehensive about playing again.

  • Had this happen as well with the GR86 trunk handle file that's on there as well. I made a make, tried to mark it as such, but was given the same error. Like with your case, the creator doesn't have an option for purchase/support.
