  • Here's the thing: When you don't vote, you COULD be saying that both candidates are bad, and you don't like either of them...

Or you could be saying that both candidates are great, and you love both of them. That you're sure either of them will do an equally good job of running the country, so it doesn't matter who wins.

And if you don't feel that way, then you need to VOTE

  • Right? Such a dramatic mental image. It's almost as if they want you to think of ICE as a bunch of barbaric cavemen with clubs.

No, ICE would just shoot you before you got a word out about abuse.

  • Just last week I saw an SUV with the sticker "SLOW AND LOUD" across their entire rear windshield. And indeed, they revved their loud exhaust while waiting at a stoplight.

It's now becoming a meme in my friend group to call idiots "slow and loud." It's honestly really fitting

  • True, they all look the same to me. But the other day, I saw someone with one of these stickers on a Cybertruck. THAT I know is bullshit

  • Not a lot of people read all the way to the end, huh...

  • The pronoun "they"

"They" has declared war on our country and must be stopped at all costs

  • Aren't there some big-name brands of flea medications that can cause some really nasty side effects? I was researching flea meds for my cat a few months ago and I remember people saying there was one in particular that was known for that. I picked Cheristin specifically because it had a lower risk of side effects.

Edit: I think I'm thinking of Nexgard, a google search says that one can cause seizures.

  • I think they are. I can't find a source for this anywhere, and I'm pretty sure this person doesn't exist.

Edit: The first picture is based in reality, her name is Amanda Elise Lee, she's a model. The ashtray's been edited in and the background's been artificially blurred though. I'm pretty sure the second and third photos are completely fake though.

Edit edit: Found the original news article. The cigarette crash did happen, but it was a man in a truck that did it.

  • Ichor.

  • I mean, it's okay to criticize something because you want it to be better...

  • What company was it? I'm considering switching cards, and I want to make sure I avoid them like the plague.

  • So you renamed him from LuciPurr to LuciFur, got it

  • I expected some pornographic masterpiece of gameplay to somehow fall in my lap like 10 years ago.

That was Monster Girl Quest for me...

It's a visual novel with turn-based combat, so the gameplay's eh, but story-wise it's phenomenal.

  • Early reviews raised red flags over software glitches, poor fit and finish, and disappointing range for a vehicle of its size.

That's the only sentence acknowledging the MANY mechanical failures, too.

  • You jest, but smart toilets actually are a thing now... Though from what I can tell, they use remotes instead of apps. So no wifi or subscriptions, but you better not break that remote.

  • You know, I heard a rumor that AOC should run for president as an independent party, because she'd never make it through the Democratic primaries, but that would be a terrible idea, because it would split the party. Let's say 50% of the country is Democratic and 50% is Republican; if the Democratic vote gets split 25% for the Democrat candidate and 25% for AOC, but the Republican vote stays 50% for their candidate, then the Republicans win in a landslide. I have a feeling that this is why the two-party system is so ingrained into our politics.

But if the Republicans also split their party into MAGA and non-MAGA Republicans at the same time, then that election becomes somewhat balanced again, and probably closer to what the founding fathers actually intended. Granted, Elon isn't calling for a new party for a presidential election, just to stop this bill, but still, it'd be interesting to see an election with four viable candidates rather than two.
