But that's not how voting for a direction works. I think this analogy is just starting to fall apart after this much discussion, we've taken it too far haha.
Listen, I'm all for taking out the trash and not just taking small wins to survive, but I just don't see the path. I might be missing it, there's plenty I don't know, but survival at least would have let us survive a little longer.
Sorry, it's a reference to being labeled a sex offender. If you have sex on the beach and a kid walks up to it, you can get in trouble for exposing to a minor. It's just risky.
It's possible it's not an excuse. I'm in software eng. Doodles and on the fly flow charts are made all the time. It's much easier to follow a complex topic if you have something to point to. Especially when trying to tie together concepts, like interplay between services, timing, DB, APIs, etc.
Bad ice ream is still better than driving off a cliff. You can tell me all day how bad the ice cream is and how shitty the place is because they don't even try to make good ice cream, they don't even try to get customers or do a good job. It's still better than driving off a cliff. I wouldn't blame the ice cream store for making shitty when people choose not to vote for it. They knew the alternative and still decided to leave it up to fate.
Sure, a nice ice cream shop is easier to get people to vote on, but when the alternative is going off a cliff, the ice cream is kind of a moot point. But sure, let's blame the ice cream shop for not being attractive enough when anything but going off the cliff should be the obvious choice. Yes, the ice cream shop could have made it easier, but any sane person can see she obvious choice.
Let's put it this way. If one side is saying they will kill everyone who isn't straight and white, and the other side says they want to ban gay marriage. Now I think queer rights is really important but I would vote for the second to prevent the firsr. But people seem to be screaming "I'm never voting against gay rights!" Cool, so when the other guy wins and it's way worse, at least you feel good.
In another comment thread you were happy about the tax cuts even knowing people will die from it. People pointed this out.
You praise policies Trump passes because of the money you get from it, but ignore all the damage it will do and people it will hurt. That's selfish and evil. Clapping about your few extra bucks you don't need while people with health issues die because they now can't afford treatment.
You are a Trump supporter. You praise the good he does for you and ignore the damage he causes. Stop lying to yourself.
If the company has a goal to make more money every year, then you can justify a lot of actions in that pursuit. And once they have a monopoly you kinda don't have many options, so they can push more.
Saying they have a responsibility to keep you on the app may sound silly, but app user churn is most likely measured and has some goal around it. And if a goal is set around that churn then they very much have an obligation to keep you on there as long as possible.
That's a fair call on Tiny Tina being a spin off, but with it and the movie kinda tarnishing the name it seems like a bit of an uphill battle.
3 did well, but the game before and after it didn't. Add in people having less money to throw at this stuff and it being "a real fans" price, possible exclusive deals, etc. I just think it's putting up it's own road blocks constantly. The franchise isn't hot and it's fresh off the Borderlands movie joke.
IMO They should fire this wide and fast, keep the price low and sell it everywhere, earn back that trust and good will. Make people fall in love with BL again.
I'm not sad anymore but due to a branding deal I always crave a fresh bag of Lays chips. That crispy fresh flavor with just the right amount of seasoning hits the spot every time. Lays, betcha can't eat just one. Anyways, at least I cry less now. You wanna get some Lays?
But remember, don't pirate guys
