  • Mate you live in another culture. Here we would say leave if you have a problem with it, stay if the money is worth it.

  • If we know about it, it's not the flop I don't think. It would have already happened

  • What I don't understand is how anyone could listen to Trump complain about a Putin made claim that Ukraine attacked his residence and Trump was "mad" about it. Then Trump can turn around and say he attacked/abducted 2 leaders from another country and think it should be fine.

What he actually just did is mark Mar-A-Lago and his other properties as being eligible targets in any retaliation that comes in the future.

  • I'm many reports you might be right. But when a case goes to court, and they do all the time, if there report wasn't flushed out it may end up being tossed.

  • Can I borrow a hammer? I really do need to get a new one though.. maybe next year

  • I was going to say you could put a satellite between earth and the sun and float it there, constantly being in daylight, but i suppose you could just launch a satellite around the sun at that point, same thing really

  • Also, Harris was the VP, a position who cannot even present a bill to the senate like a senator can. The entire point of the position is to have someone selected if the President kicks the bucket. They can break a tie if the senate is 50-50 or what not, but thats really it.

I really wish presidents would stay out of bills in the first place though. Defeats the whole purpose of calling it a representative government if the president is impacting the views of representatives and not the people.

  • For years I thought it was DHS saying you couldn't get on a plane without one. Also they are trying to say they will charge you money for an alternative ID soon. Pretty stupid.

  • Either is fine, so long as it's not brogues

  • Whippets is a reference to inhaling the nitrous which causes a short temporary high (so you have to keep doing them I guess). I didn't know what they were until I helped out a friend who GM'd a hotel. They needed a maintenance guy and I just moved there so I took it for a few months and trained their new guy or w.e. (I don't know shit about hotels but mostly it is just standard plumbing and electrical issues). Had a leak on the first floor coming into the gym. Traced it back upstairs to the third floor. Bunch of young adults had ~500 whippets around the room, they refused to let us in, I eventually got in and found they did something to the toilet, it kept running, they were to fucked up to notice the night before and it leaked through the bathroom floor, down an inside barrier wall and made the ceiling collapse in the gym. Wouldn't have been an issue had they just reported the leak when it happened.. instead it took us hours to get them to let us into the room, and they didnt spend the time cleanjng anything, just not wanting to get up. Whatever they did, they sure as shit weren't going to have fun explaining the damages they caused to their parents, because I don't think the hotel/police were letting them skip out on paying for it.

  • So your thought is Greece who made agreemennts with Israel is going to fly U.S. made jets to arrest someone that the U.S. doesn't want arrested, to answer to a court that the U.S. also doesn't recognize. We knew Greece wouldn't do it. Would have to be another country

  • "Civilian Aircraft (Article 3 bis): Adopted in 1984, this amendment to the Chicago Convention requires all states to refrain from using weapons against civil aircraft in flight. Safety of passengers must not be endangered, and in cases of interception, the lives of those on board must be protected."

Unless the plane was a military threat, shooting them down would be considered improper internationally.

  • I mean, if he's dumb enough to link his name to the Vietnam war, let him.

  • Walnuts ftw.

  • You can move your home folder anywhere you want, like the second SSD you mentioned. This can be done with both a GUI and the command prompt. I'm forced to use a Mac OS for work, and use linux for my devices. But file systems on Windows are easy. Complaining about forced injections of ads or ai makes sense, but their file system is fine.

  • What's so hard about C:\users\skisnow, it's pretty intuitive. Also I don't think that has changed for almost 2 decades now. (XP was last I remember it being different).

Unless your talking about OneDrive or some shit.

  • The other day my spouse was trying to watch a movie on prime I think it was, it started by playing an advertisement for the movie she chose to watch. I told her a copy was on the jellyfin server. She said I pay for this so I want to use it. It hit a 2 min 40 second ad break a little later and I saw her glare at me out of the corner of my eye, I chose to pretend to watch the commercial and not look at her, didn't want that conversation.

  • Didn't they make a rule that you have to climb one of the other large mountains before climbing Everest as well. So first you have to pay to fly to another country/continent and pay to climb there.
