While it isn't the top export by gdp, we are the largest exporter of arms. Furthermore, much of our top exports are vital in carrying out warfare, including oil. You may not have been completely serious, but you weren't far from the mark.
The increase in ear and nose hair is the only part of aging I despise, appearance wise. I don't mind grays or wrinkles, but having hair sprouting out of my nose and ears is not only unsightly, but they can be physically bothersome as well. Fortunately, it is easily managed, but it is another thing added to my list of shit to do.
If they can sue for "damages," then I believe that the rest of us should be able to form a class action suit. It is established that the fuel producers were aware of climate change caused by their product and saught to obfuscate the discourse surrounding it. This action has had actual measurable damages that would bankrupt them if they were actually held to account. The federal and state governments also have cause to sue because much of this burden has been borne by tax dollars. In fact, California should file a countersuit to recoupe the costs on public health, increased fire danger, economic losses caused by drought, lost tax income from early death, etc.
It's incredible that this administration fails to meet even the lowest bar of competence. Fortunately, that is often, though not always, to the benefit of everyone outside the death cult.

Life in prison is not enough. That may have been an option after the civil war if they had done what needed to be done at the time. Unfortunately, this go around, there will need to be more drastic measures, and this doesn't just involve the officials, but the supporters as well. There is a blood debt that will need to be paid if we'll ever move beyond this for good.
It isn't something many Americans would be familiar with nor on the front of their mind to use as an expression. That individual is likely Chinese or has an unusual interest in 19th-century Chinese history for an American. There is no need to be a smug asshole about basic facts.
