I am but a cog in a machine. A lazy one though.

Maybe the two images are rail connected, hmm
Fair, but is your current phone truly made in your home country?
Fairphone is arguably doing a lot of good for the consumers and (even if its not perfect) for the environment compared to other phone manufacturers. And most people in my country need a (smart)phone.
I highly recommend the book “The Book of Hope” from Jane Goodall to truly understand “Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good” when it comes to climate action.
Edit: added full title of the book
Yeah I really hope so too!!
Hey OP think you accidentally postes this twice in the same community.
Hope this gives Fairphone plenty of new customers and allows them to start selling more globally.
Based on the README and that article, the founder sounds like he is deep into conspiracy theories and is an anti-vaccine MAGA person.
Not to downplay the problems on xorg and I am happy it’s getting forked, but wtf is up with “No DEI” “Make X great again” in the README… Doesn’t convince me at all that this project is going to stay intact and upkept on the long term.
Edit: added some words
Edit2: yeah okay, he’s a complete nutjob and a shitty person. See link below
My personal favourite (because it’s more unique than the north arrow) is the windy road one. Really great work on that one!
Ah, thanks! Didn’t know that. I guess it wont have an effect then and can be ignored.
Edit: fixed up wording.
I recently had this problem while dualbooting mint and windows: windows was shutting down the LAN hardware somehow.
Had to disable fast startup (in windows, but I recall some Motherboards have also “fast boot” in BIOS as well?) and also in windows’ LAN adapter settings a power saving option.
This is the thread that helped me: https://askubuntu.com/a/879818
A shot in the dark, but hopefully it helps.
Lol love the new username, fitting! :)
Well, it was just reported widely that he uses a lot of drugs and that it was way more than previously thought, so I’d say that.
He reportedly uses ketamine, ecstasy and possibly mushrooms. Ketamine usage alone can help him ignore all of that.
I didn’t know this. Mūsu Moose sounds even better! Mūsu Moose it is!
Missing the pop-tart body, otherwise we could have had a wild Nyan Moose
If it’s something that is not very popular/known I do actually look at the code, but never all of it.
I check:
This is of course very superficial and in general I try to avoid obscure projects that are not popular and well known.
Yeah holy shit. When I was starting out and tagged along a senior on a trip he literally hauled a big backpack of spirits with him.
Got out of that industry after a few years when I realized why every senior was drinking. The money was just not worth it for me.
Another awesome tip I’ve learned today, thanks! Yeah often I remember the actual day I typed a specific command but must manually scroll through. This is another useful tip. I don’t think I’ll completely let go of history since it’s also super convenient to just look up index and type !345 for example.
I feel like I forget those that I just don’t use often enough, and when I would need them I default to what I know (which is always a slower way than knowing a shortcut) in a “hurry”.
Guess I should just print them and tape the paper next to my monitor.
I used !<index>
Together with history
by giving an index displayed in the history list, but did not know that you can use it like that! Also didn’t know about ^
Thanks for the tips!
No, because I need that job to get money but saying so would most likely prevent me from getting that job and, by extension, money.
