  • I work at an MSP and 99% of my work is troubleshooting over the phone during remote sessions in devices. Shit sucks sometimes, but I've gotten used to it. There are a few users that are agonizing to work with, but any tech support job will have that.

  • I was one of 3 people aty office who got any sort of raise this year. It was based on merit. I'm thrilled about the raise, but I feel bad for my coworkers because management sucks. I discussed the raise with my work besties and one is pissed about it and the other is hyped for me.

    I'm also faced with the dilemma of being important at work.

  • I will! I'm hoping to have it done within a year. I'm fast tracked for publishing because my cousin is my editor in the startup publishing company I'm going through and we devised a chapter by chapter editing process that makes the whole thing quicker. Also nepotism lmao.

    I also manage to write every day, whether it be just a single sentence, a paragraph, or a whole lot more. I wfh full time, which gives me loads of free time to work on stuff while somehow being hella productive for my day job lol.

    I have little side projects (fanfics. Pls don't judge me too hard lmao) to practice my craft with established lore and characters. It allows me to experiment with imagery and dialogue.

  • It's a fact that the horses that are the hardest to keep clean for more than 30 seconds are gray mares.

    (All white horses are considered grays unless they have pink, unpigmented skin. Almost all white horses have pignmented skin. Sandy's skin is mostly gray. She also has gray and reddish brown flea-bitten coat markings which can be hard to see in pics of her. )

  • Only when people are using the water on her. Rain is fine, as is her water bucket. And rolling in mud puddles is absolutely grand. She also lets me use fly spray on her, but I have to show it to her and say "spray" before I spray it or she'll wig out a little.

    A wet sponge in someone's hand, though? oh no. No way

    And don't you even think of bringing a hose near her unless it's to fill up her water bucket or soak alfalfa cubes.

    Sandy was very confused when she got put in a different pen than usual. she had a blast though. saw her gallop for the first time and she rolled in the mud soooooo much.
