Lol that's adorable! Odin not demanding attention is honestly kind of a good thing because he lives at a horse barn and is liable to get stomped on if he's underfoot.
A friend and I once took a dozen donuts and a 2 liter of Mug root beer into a movie theater. The guy doing bag checks looked at me and my friend and said, "Good choice in snacks" and let us in.
It is awesome! She's such a good girl and loving life.
I'm starting her on an additional supplement that is for weight maintenance/gain. Hoping she can get a few more pounds on before the cold really sets in or can at least maintain her current weight.
It's totally the lighting difference in the two pics making the color seem different. She is actually getting a pretty good amount of fuzz on her for winter now that she's outside so much. I also do minimal brushing this time of year because I don't want to accidentally thin out the fuzz that's coming in. Last year she barely got any extra fur because she wasn't outside long enough for her body to kick into winter coat mode. She was very unhealthy last winter. I'm also starting her on additional supplement that'll help put some extra weight on her. I'd rather her be chubby going into winter, especially because I've heard this winter is supposed to be brutal in my area.
I'm so happy to share her with y'all and answer your questions! Horses are my passion and Sandy is one of the best things in my life (she's tied with my dogs).
