If full time Walmart employees need government assistance programs to afford food and pay their rent, is it not Walmart who is leaning on government assistance?

  • These people think independents are centrist monoliths. Probably coincides with why they think AI is the solution for all of their problems, because they have no critical thinking skills.

  • Who woulda thought the people who feel nothing about ruining the reality of every one of their viewers with lies also feels nothing about literal murder.

  • Doesn't adding means testing to programs like this add a lot of administrative burden and hidden cost for giving out cards, managing giant secure databases of a person's validity, renewals, data breach potential, etc?

  • A lot are propaganda bots. I don't trust a damn thing on Facebook, even the ones saying opinions I agree with.

  • Great source for the folks who think he's strong when he couldn't he more weak.

  • Or that she's "beautiful"

He's trying to appeal to the cult of sexually insecure men who need trad wives to exist because nobody except someone obsessed with being a wife and child bearer would ever lower themselves enough for them to qualify.

  • It may not be within your control, but laser printers are infinitely more reliable for small batch printing.

  • "Now" is a bit misleading. Trump also "yielded" to gifts in his first term and gladly accepted bogus room reservations in all his hotels

  • It's a bit more complicated than that. People like him have traditionally played off of religion heavily while not being firm believers themselves. I think it stands to reason that the religion is a means to an end, which in Israel's case amplifies their main defense, which is, "If you don't like our ethnostate the you don't like Jews." Obviously ridiculous to most leftists, but liberals are more amenable to identity politics.

  • It couldn't have happened to more deserving "victims" especially in Australia

  • Lol nope, black altima. No doubt they didn't fix it though, I kinda doubt they have a single mechanic across their entire business. Interestingly in Peurto Rico they have a contract with pep boys to fix their cars so you never have to return them to the station. When the only one we ever saw was in San Juan that was appreciated.

Actually think it was a Maxima, not Altima

  • Some how I imagine they didn't get the amount of white south Africans they were hoping for.

  • Dipshit probably said it in Signal. Why he got away with any record violations is baffling but getting away with 2? Fucking joke

  • Yikes, I wouldn't drive that either

  • I'm getting better at it. Unfortunately still end up getting a lot drop shipped from them.

  • Lol I just found it funny. I know a few people, mostly people from Mexico, that prefer instant. It's weird but all the power to ya. The only crappy thing about it is that it's harder to avoid nesco and similarly evil companies when you do that.

  • Dumbest reasoning ever. What metrics are you attempting to gather? Surely there are smarter ways than degrading the Lemmy experience.

Btw, he said he "deletes the account at the end of the day because he feels guilty and wants to limit his online exposure" i lost brain cells repeating it

  • If you wanted Lemmy to thrive then your accounts would exist for longer than they do and you wouldn't be ban evading. Point of all this?

  • All you really can do. They'll usually say they don't have one and you'll just have to call around. Big headache overall
