It's a new mode in split screen. Currently you can have a 50:50 split, where each app takes up half of the screen, or a 70:30 split where one app takes up more than the other. The 90:10 split is a new setting where you can have one app take up almost all of the screen with the other just taking up a sliver, and then you can simply tap on the smaller one to swap them - makes for quick multitasking between two apps. It looks to be similar to OnePlus' Open Canvas but not quite as powerful. Looks like it will now be coming in QPR2. I believe it's already available on some Samsung phones.
I was expecting to get the 90:10 split in this update, would certainly be useful for my OG Pixel Fold, but I guess it's coming sometime later. For now I'm liking the updates to the Quick Settings Panel.
The S4 was incredible, probably my longest serving phone. I didn't want to upgrade and lose easily changeable batteries and memory expansions. I eventually gave up when I couldn't get the batteries any more.
The Sega Mega CD and the 32x were genuinely great pieces of hardware...but nearly all the games were awful. I love the Mega CD in particular, and I say that as a Nintendo kid.
UK here, stuck with only Channel 4 showing it with the English dub and yikes...that was just awful. There were several times where I thought "That was the best take you had?" While not as unintentionally comical as the "Uzumaki" dub it still just took me right out of the experience. The original Japanese soundtrack has some genuine VA legends including Mamoru Miyano, Megumi Hayashibara, and Koichi Yamadera...while the English dub seems to be a bunch of bored teenagers cold reading the script.
Hopefully Channel 4 will eventually add the original Japanese track, but I don't think they ever did for "Uzumaki", or maybe Crunchyroll will get it eventually. I'd rather not have to sail the seven seas.
It's a shame Google seems to be doing away with the camera bar, I really liked it. A good bit of obvious brand identity, plus it meant that the phone didn't wobble when placed flat on a table! What a concept! It's already gone on the Fold 9 and now looks to be gone in upcoming phones. It's still spans enough of the back on those cases that it might still eliminate phone wobble at least...but it makes the phone look more generic.
I hope this comes to Google's foldables too. I rarely need more than the two apps I can currently split screen, but something like Open Canvas so would certainly add more flexibility.
“It was a tough decision, because as a character, you see basically half the population loves him, and half the population has a different feeling of him. And we didn’t want to only cater to one side.”
So...you catered to only one side...the wrong one.
Sorry, I missed this comment until now. Thanks for the tip, I'll check Zen out.
The multi window feature I mentioned in Chrome is for foldable phones. Chrome allows you to open two separate instances and have them on either side of your screen; much like you can do on a desktop. I love the multi tasking aspect foldable phones allow, but very few apps allow you to have two instances of them running like that.
Firefox because it's plugins make mobile browsing bareable. I have a folding phone so I wish that Firefox would hurry up and copy Chrome's multi window feature, and then it would be the perfect browser for me.
I use Firefox on desktop too, but I've been experimenting with Arc the last few weeks to see what the fuss is about.
Sounds interesting; I'll look into it. When you say we would "need an additional Unifi device in your network" do you mean something like the box that comes with Eufy, or something more complex. I emphasise that our "network" currently is a handful of smart bulbs and our phones; we are not looking to get into a full smart home setup.
"...fluffy non offensive, status quo game that is afraid of offending everyone..."
They seem pretty offended.
