A human on earth. Ask me about weird tech. Bonus points if it radiates.

  • The proletariat needs to learn spelling.

Also, someone needs to learn theory, because imagine someone like this as a president. Oh, wait...

  • Break through the propaganda by focussing on the accessible core demands, not the labels / theories. Anything is better than the current path.

  • Not saying that condoms are the work of the devil might already be a good start. Let people be horny.

  • Alright, have a nice day

  • Mate, where do I even begin here.

    1. People have different opinions.
    2. AI can make horrifying mistakes and still on average do its intended purpose. If you catch 90% murderers and 10% innocents, that is apparently good enough for quite a few governments.
  • Both of these things can be true. It still works if it occasionally throws a few innocents in front of the bus.

  • Next step would be to make owning such devices illegal :(

  • As a former teen that - due to other reasons - was socially pretty isolated, at this age acceptance from your peers is everything.

  • Also, wenn der Chef sagt, erschiess mal den Bundeskanzler, dann macht man das erst und fragt erst danach das Gericht?

  • Fuck regulation! I hate it when my plane has wings, my water doesn't even contain lead and the trucker I'm passing had some sleep in the last 20h!

  • Don't forget the drugs.

But anyone who buys crypro for "speculation" deserves to get their money-handling privileges revoked.

  • Again, I don't think we disagree. It is a complex topic, and one worth talking about, especially within circles that should generally unite against common enemies.

There are people who use globalist as a dogwhistle to mean global Jewish conspiracy bullshit, dating back to the original Nazis.

There are people, like attac, Occupy Wallstreet and so on, that used and use globalism in its economical meaning in order to criticise the current system of exploitation and speculation.

There are people that intentionally try to paint the second kind of people as antisemites, especially if they dare to call out Israel, in order to discredit them.

There are people that intentionally try to infiltrate arguments in order to make people support antisemitism and to make it seem that antisemitism is a valid opinion.

All of those people exist in varying quantities, but a right-wing person mentioning "globalists" is, in my experience, quite likely to mean "I don't like Jews".

I don't really know why you dragged the Democrats in here. I'm not even from the US, from my point of view, large parts of the Democrats are a turbo-capitalist right-wing party that happen to have a handful of progressive social values. Obviously, the Republicans are fascists in everything but their lack of trains and Mediterranean food.

  • You manage to be on the exact same page, yet completely miss the point.

    This person is so close.

I hate to say it, but you are "this person". Nobody is glorifying democrats here. There are rich fucks, and there are poor people suffering the consequences. Period.

  • Oh, we had. Rats are common in all cities, and mice in the countryside. Sure, nowadays you'd just get an exterminator, but having a cat would prevent that as well. Our dog caught a rat in our basement once, and I'm pretty sure we avoided mice due to her presence as well.

  • Just wait until we have overturn the fascist system, then you'll be first against the wall!

  • I saw a historic photo in a magazine once, where some European colonial officers tried to tame and ride zebras

  • Slight correction: Someone (likely a state actor, or just some very leet larpers) got into the hosting infrastructure that NP++ uses, and compromised the downloaded program. We mostly have the NP++ guy's word for it, so take it with a grain of salt, but if he does not make things up, that is something that can happen with basically all software, there is not much that he can do against it (except maybe find a better hosting company).

  • I've seen a lot of students at climate and social protests. Back in my day, if you deviated from the norm only a bit, you'd be called "edgy", "gay", "misled" and so on. When I look at what would have turned you into an outsider back in my not-so-distant past and beaten up after school, and what some students dare to do today, I have some hope. There are good people out there. They are just hard to see behind all the loud, stupid and malicious ones.

  • Yes, but: not falling into the slop machine takes willpower and learned skills. Modern social media is like a drug. Many adults use drugs responsibly to have good times, but we all agree that we should keep kids away from them.
