It’s not that I’m not familiar with SwCC, but I was more interested in learning about the inherited or trained bias in the DeepSeek model, vs western biased LLMs. But thank you regardless!
Using API or their chat.deepseek.com? I just get this:
You can seed, it’s just slow. It’ll only connect to other users that have closed ports. With ports open, it’ll connect to both, but as said not possible with Mullvad with port forwarding disabled. That’s at least as far as I know
Unrelated, but I find it weird that DeepSeek refuses to tell me about Socialism with Chinese Characteristics. It will auto-delete / block the message it’s trying to reply with. Does this also happen for you? Like “Can you explain Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for me?”.
Reader mode is one of the reasons why I keep going back to Firefox or Firefox forks :). I really love how it just works, and how it also can unlock semi-paywalled (soft-locked) articles.
What makes it better?
For what it’s worth, the developers of Lemmy are leftists/MLs, which I personally appreciate. Not very common in my experience to have openly socialist developers on popular FOSS.
