  • The Ontario EV industry at any point can start making a smaller, cheaper EV that's not a Crossover SUV abomination. We need smaller smart car sized EVs in the sub $20,000 range (in addition to better transit, please don't crucify me Lemmy).

  • Canadian Militia Intensifies

  • Just do mint. If you don't like it, try another. I went mint and it felt comfortable and worked so I'm happy with it. Might try Debian next time for more stability and less cutting edge.

  • Killarney has such good hiking.

  • Yeah true, kinda like how the flu shot is also widely available and free most autumn and winter time periods. Weird.

  • Please send help - an Albertan

  • As with most homel grown food, you need to make at least one pie!

  • The other thing that's driving me nuts here is you picked three different zoom levels for all three graphics. At least try to match / overlay them so that its apples to apples.

  • Guy, I work in mapping and I'm gonna go ahead and agree with the other reply that none of this means anything if you don't add context. But you do you boo.

  • You don't understand that land back being ALL of the land back not being a true possibility and the responder saying its a start to make light of it still being a good thing? Don't let perfect be the enemy of good.

  • Time to revive those Corel word perfect licenses.

  • I think its almost universally accepted that the US would crush Canada in a traditional land war, but the long term occupation would destroy the US. Its one thing to invade a distant land across the world with people who look and speaking nothing like you. Its a different story to do it in your own backyard with people who look, talk and think like you and are thorough embedded in your society.

  • Yes?

  • I set my language to Canadian English. It autocorrects the other way.

  • See, I disagree with this sentiment. Coming from a Canadian we're seeing products in grocery stores and other places we've simply never seen before because all the american product is rotting on the shelves. For instance, I've seen legit Canadian brands of laundry detergent whereas my whole life all I've ever really seen is tide, bounce the usual corp crap.

This is slowly but surely propping up alternatives in a way that simply wasn't possible before and directly contributing to what is currently small manufacturers, farmers and other retailers into becoming viable alternatives to the usual suspects.

  • This is a super weird point to focus on from that whoooole situation.

  • What in the hell are you talking about? I can walk down the street and get Canadian beer and liquor from almost every province. I drank fucking moosehead and Alexander Keith's from the east coast in central Ontario in 2000 and fucking 5.

  • Could you give an example?
