If he uses nukes it would be a hard line that most countries would be hard pressed to look past. If the US uses nukes in Iran then Russia will definitely use theirs in Ukraine and no European politician wants to be in the way of that fallout (literally and figuratively).
White phosphorus is pyrophoric which means it ignites in contact with air and it's quite difficult to put out. It's also very sticky and will adhere to clothes and skin. It is highly toxic and causes burns on skin contact. Smoke and fumes that result from burning white phosphorus are also highly toxic and can lead to organ failure. Chronic exposure can cause phossy jaw which is the necrosis of the jaw bones which is disfiguring, can lead to malnutrition if treated (patients won't be able to eat properly) and can lead to death if untreated.

They had a deal in place to not make a nuke, then Trump comes in and uses the deal as toilet paper. After getting rid of the deal the US bombs your nuclear facilities with no regards for danger of contamination or if they are civilian or military in nature. Then you start negotiations with them and during the negotiations you fucking bomb their leadership and kill them, committing perfidy basically. Yeah at this point they see getting nukes as the only actual deterrent they have left.
I want them banned even if they aren't. Twitter is a shithole and has only made things worse since Elon has taken over. If people aren't gonna move off it because it's a Nazi shithole then force them to move off.
Yeah. Iran can just shoot at anything passing by with minimal risk. The only way to stop them would be to land troops as push them out, but even then you would have to push them back quite a bit to stop missiles from hitting the straight. And of course, landing troops is going to be bloody, very very bloody. Can the US afford it?
But don't worry, all those ships sunk by the Iranians can just be replaced by the shiny new Trump class battleships.
