  • Nah its cool factorio guy doesn't HAVE to leave.

    No pollution, no biters.

    Very doable.

Just find an island, 100 stone for 2 landfill, and get to the island by picking up a landfill behind you and placing it in front of you.

You have eternity, so take trips off your island to mine things by hand, craft things by hand, etc.

    Eternity awaits.

  • I feel like the leading "the" is what's messing that up.

"Mitochondria are the powerhouse of the cell" sounds fine to me.

  • Most slaves parents were also born here, at that point in time.

So it's incorrect to think of them as citizens of any country, at the time.

The amendment was primarily for slaves, yes. I responded with a nah because the comment above mine asked if this was a ploy to remove their citizenship in some way. It wasn't, the supreme court had their own racist ploy for that.

  • Nah, you see, whoever gets the ball and chain becomes the next Pope.

  • Nah its actually what granted citizenship.

Property isn't a citizen, and freeing the slaves didn't make them citizens.

Before this amendment, the supreme court had ruled that black people "were never intended" to be citizens under the constitution.

During the rebuilding of the US after the civil war, this got added, so that that nonsense ruling (which was argued against, even then, since there was no such phrasing in the constitution) had no power. Instead, being born in the US was enough, which was true for basically every freed slave at that point in history.

So they were officially not citizens, in the whole nation, just before the civil war. Then they were freed by the 13th amendment, and made citizens in this one, and then the 15th protected the right to vote regardless of race or other things.

  • It probably depends on the moment.

I feel it oscillates from "basically already a state" to "European nation that happens to be next to us" to "damn Canadians won't give me Greenland, must be the left."

  • Well I figure he does want control.

Also, if theres two competitors and both could give more than a 2x return, then its a safe bet. The only way its an unsafe bet is if they can both fail, but hes clearly not thinking about that kind of thing.

  • VLC icon, obviously.

VLC's agenda has always been being the only traffic cone. It even stands for Very Large Cone.

Don't fall for Big Cone's agenda.

  • Talos principle, gold edition.

When I was about 12, I found a shiny trapinch I'm the desert in Emerald. I weakened it as I didn't have enough pokeballs to keep trying at it if it broke out, and I got a crit and killed it. Spent 4 hours in that desert trying to find a replacement, and I DID. Still have that second trapinch.

  • A bunch are work from home setups.

  • Nah pizza hut sucks way more

  • Zero sugar energy drinks.

No sugar means its not gonna get sticky, it'd rinse right off.

I imagine a bunch of creams already use the b vitamins you'd get since they love shoving b vitamins in those.

And it'll actually drain when you're done and a quick rinse will get everything normal afterwards.

  • They said UI, so I don't think they meant features. But honestly I've never been unhappy with their UI, aside from one day with multiple replaces across a few files where the autofill from clipboard kept deleting the expression I wanted to be in there as I navigated through what I needed to do.

But that was fine, anyway, it got through it and I'm just happy with the "apply to all open documents" setting. Saved me at least an hour.

  • It is generally considered better.

The issue is a microwave cooks the coffee.

Adding heat in general is considered bad in the coffee world, like reheating any other food, really, but adding heat to maintain temperature is actually fine.

The issue coffee people take with hotplates and the like is that it doesn't heat evenly, it cooks the bottom layer. Something that adds heat evenly and gently is fine.

Although I just pour my fresh coffee into a thermos, because a good thermos will keep it at least warm all day.

  • From the site:

Directing portions of proceeds to Luigi's GiveSendgo defense fund

our products are not officially endorsed by Luigi Mangione, his representatives, or any associated entities.

    So no, it's not official.

They have some photos of donation receipts but there's no amount, I haven't made the effort to see if the IDs on them can be publicly traced to that.

Nowhere on the website does it say what portion of proceeds are donated.

  • No you can't do that with administrator in windows.

Some things, windows just won't let you do, even as an administrator.

  • Probably a habit from when they really did have bad English, but they learned, and surpassed the average american at this point.

  • Well if it grows in the shade, then the invasive potential is gonna be in a forest, isn't it?

Growing tree to tree, choking out every other plant as it goes
