  • Holy shit, stop! These fucking mergers always end up being awful for everyone!

  • Those are lunchboxes. I see how one might make that mistake, given their size relative to the kids. Either the lunxhboxes are comically large or the kids are comically small.

  • Before Cloud, obviously.

  • Ditto

  • I wouldn't call those parts private if they're just flaunting them all over the place for the world to see. They're clearly very public parts.

  • You're doing better than most of us!

  • He's gonna keep doing it anyway. He ignores court orders he doesn't like and it hasn't negatively affected him so far.

  • Because I have attempted such and have bled for my transgressions.

  • This cat hasn't been done any kind of way. This is standard cat behavior. Those goofballs will sleep on anything, in any position, for hours at a time. If you wake them to shift them to a more comfortable position, you risk the wrath of tooth and claw for your insolence. Ask me how I know. 😅

  • No problem! I'm always happy to help new players to one of my favorite games! 😀 Enjoy your return to the game, and you can always message me if you hit a road block or something.

  • Hopefully you'll like it better this time around. I know VR preferences can be very subjective, so I can understand why it may not have worked for you. While I don't know what specifically you didn't like, I will say that on the performance and visual fidelity aspects of VR, they've done some good work over the last year or two. Improvements to the engine and things like DLSS in VR really help it run better.

Regarding the crafting and material collection, I have some good news. From your time with the game, you probably remember the difficulty options of Normal, Survival, Permadeath, and Creative. That last one eliminates all costs and penalties from the game, for people who just want to Netflix warp drive and chill. But, if you don't want to make it too easy, they've since added a ton of granular difficulty controls, most of which are adjustable on the fly. You can make a game that's otherwise normal, but eliminates crafting costs, if that's your preference. You may already be familiar with the settings, but I mention it anyway because a surprising number of people I talk to about the game don't know and have played the game for a long time without realizing they can adjust fine grained difficulty settings.

  • They typically release 3-5 significant updates a year and have been doing so for several years now.

  • Can confirm that this game in VR is ridiculously good. There arent really any limitations. Anything you can do in the standard mode, you can do in VR. It's my favorite VR game to date. I love landing on some unknown world and just wandering around. The immersion is absurdly good.

  • I am very impressed that a hydroxyl group can read at all, let alone increase their amount of reading!

  • Damn, dude, you saw the part where I said it wasn't a bad movie, right? I was just sharing what I thought, not attacking everyone who loved the movie. Sorry for having an opinion, I guess.

  • I don't know about all that. I saw this last week with some friends and we walked out of there feeling like it wasn't a bad movie, but something seemed too familiar and a bit off. We were discussing it and one of my friends figured it out: this movie was largely a remake of Superman IV.

  • What an unhinged response. My floor mats may smell like cum, but I'm not conservative and the only brain rot here is yours.

  • "Vent."

    Asshole. You mean asshole.

  • Just because some people in some part of the world are doing horrifying shit doesn't mean we all need to do horrifying shit.

  • I don't know why you got down voted when what you said was 100% correct. People have had this constant fear that our phones are listening, which I totally get because of how creepy some apps behave, but if phones did have an active mic all the time and were processing or sending the voice recordings anywhere, you'd see the battery hit and it would be substantial. Repeated testing has shown they're not listening. As you've pointed out, the various tracking and profile building tech and ad companies are engaging in ends up building extremely detailed and specific profiles such that they can pretty accurately predict our behavior. It's fucked, and it sucks, but it's a different issue than a phone listening in on you.
