Attacking everyone who doesnt fully agree with you doesnt change ANYONES minds, and in fact makes you more enemies, thus putting whichever cause you fight for further behind
Counterpoint, not celebrating when someone changes for the better encourages shitty people to just STAY shitty people, and I could argue THAT is why we end up having to vote for lesser evils. Then theres the flipside where you function too well to get any supports, but getting that level of functioning takes an insanely prioritized lifestyle that leaves you failing at basically everything, but not enough to get supports, but in order to fail enough to get supports you'd have to lose the little you have that you are desperately trying to cling on to

I'm more coming at it as "ALL of our jobs are getting the axe soon, even if you were successful at banning AI, which would also ban the uses that are helping people, its equivalent to nailing a board over a crack in in a mega dam." Or, worded differently: The status quo is whats taking peoples jobs, you aren't going to fix this by trying to get back to it.
