  • […]There will be alteration.[…]

I'm not claiming that there wouldn't be some form of alteration — I'm just seeking the minimum amount of alterations as is pragmatically possible (ie avoiding something to this extent [1]).

Could you clarify what you mean? I'm not sure I follow.

    Thank you for clarifying.

  • When I see things like this, the following quote comes to my mind:

Rationality is not a character trait, it's a process. If you fool yourself into believing that you're rational by default, you open yourself up to the most irrational thinking. [1]

  • TikTok To Be Sold To Trump’s Right Wing Billionaire Buddies And Converted Into A Propaganda Mill [1.1]

The title feels misinformative to me given, the following from the article:

[…] Trump insiders claim to be zeroing in on a deal that would sell 80% of TikTok’s U.S. assets to […] [1.2]

To me, the title infers that TikTok is being sold with certainty, whereas the content of the article sates that a deal has yet to even be reached.

  • […] the study you mentioned […]

What study are you referring to?

  • The other reply has it right, but I wanted to reply to confirm.

“Pronouns” in this context almost always means “preferred pronouns” especially wrt people who have preferred pronouns that differ from those assigned at birth. […]

I still don't really follow. Are you arguing that the usage of one's preferred pronouns doesn't harm the user? Or are you arguing that the misuse of one's pronouns causes them no harm?

  • […]People don’t care WHO or what does it, they themselves just don’t want to.

Then don't? Are you arguing that there doesn't exist an alternative that doesn't require one to self-checkout?

  • Be all that as it may, I don't see it as a justification for, imo, rude behavior towards others — in particular employees who, I would presume, have little control over the actions required of them while they are working.

  • This is ironically an inevitable consequence of Wikipedia’s centralization undermining its strategic objective of making knowledge free and accessible to all. […]
