  • Just listened to a bit of Hasan live earlier and I think he's still suffering from sort of shell-shock from the "Russia actually invaded! The left was all wrong!" stuff. He seems to be clearly heavily hedging his bets against common sense and available evidence (that the shooter was groyped up) "just in case" so he doesn't have to suffer another 100 moronic videos from libs who don't actually care.

    I think that's poor analysis though it's hard to say "You can't reach a conclusion different from me!" It's just a weird one for him to reach with currently available information. You can change as more info comes. I don't know why he cares what people say; they'll say it anyway.

    Beyond his opinion, I think it's uh a "politically bad idea" (failing at words) to even lightly lean into right wing framing. Even if the dude wrote a manifesto and included like receipts for him reading Marx for six months straight after he met his roommate/alleged lover I would still say you gotta just do the OP thing... lie. Just lie.

    The Nazis are gonna lie their asses off. Fuck 'em. Lie better. Ultimately blasting Kirk doesn't fit into leftist ideology. Not in any meaningful sense. It doesn't advance any movements. You don't need to be like "We love this guy!" Just blame that Nazi trash ass Fuentes and never stop. He's gonna do the same thing to Hasan and others regardless if a manifesto comes out with him being like "I loved Nick Fuentes!"

    The times of truth mattering are not these times. I believe a large, red-faced man used to describe all of this as information warfare... infowars... hmm. Maybe he was onto something. You just gotta counter stir the bullshit slurry. Like wtf else do you do? Just bend the knee and be like "Uh, I dunno, maybe he was a radical lib who loved Biden." Who the fuck does that help? Lol.     I was also sick of hearing about 'Tiny Face, Big Gums' within an hour of the shooting. I already hate the shooter if for no other reason than making media focus on one of the weirdest looking and objectively untalented assholes in "politics" for the last multiple decades. Which is almost impressive when you see his peers.

The professors are a weird gray area (publicly funded uni but they aren't government employees) but any public school teachers have a solid and easy to win civil rights violation case against any school district dumb enough to do this.

    In the mean time, are there any libbed up groups digging up statements mocking George Floyd being murdered, deportation of immigrants, etc.? Tons of public school teachers are republicans.     Even for those in the dogshit US if you get fired for this make sure to document everything from the supervisor, boss, whatever. High potential for them to be made to pay $$ if they're stupid enough to even lightly breathe the "reason" why. Anyone who works at any governmental position local, state or federal will have a pretty much ironclad insta-win case due to first amendment protections. (This wouldn't apply to the military. Different set of laws.) The government is forbidden from restricting speech and every state and locality is beholden to the US constitution plus their own state constitutions which usually echo the first amendment anyway. It would be acceptable for them to fire someone who made a joke in their formal capacity as whatever position. But as just a normal person online or in texts, etc. Nah. You may be stuck in appeals for federal jobs though for years because you know Trump's gonna pay some asshole kid to just deny forever and drag it out. Great country, etc.

  • Considering he was definitely raised to hunt (based on location, his father, and the gun used was a normal deer hunting gun) he would've been trained to shoot for the chest area for sure. Heart, lungs. Hit those and the target goes down and dies.

    I do wonder if he was aiming for the head for the additional horror and just missed. If he had hit the head dude's skull might've been visibly destroyed live for the entire internet. The entry wound would probably still be small, but the back of his head would just blow out. Kennedy-style stuff. I suspect he may have been going for that type of thing but got nervous and fucked the shot a little bit.

    This is just how those guys are. They are "at war" with what they see as "pro-Jew" (aka Zionist Christians) like Kirk was. They literally say they're at war. Fuentes says that. He hates Israel because he's a legit antisemite and just associates Israel with Jews whom he hates. He's that type of antisemitic as opposed to Kirk who was also antisemitic but pro-Israel. The "They should leave our country" types and the "we need gas chambers" types. Kirk was the former; Fuentes is the latter.

    Fuentes and those guys generally love Trump for obvious reasons, but they absolutely hate his pro-Israel Zionist policies. They are actively trying to purge that Zionist side of the right wing.

    But yeah they use all these little 4chan memes, co-opted lib or left language, songs, etc. It's all meant in a very dark and I suppose "ironic" sense. Online left also repurposes right wing memes from time to time. It requires someone who spends an unfortunate amount of time online to pick apart the irony and point to what the "joke" is supposed to be.

  • Poll after poll for decades consistently shows there's around 20-30% of Americans that "just gone." Full blown "would support literal gas chambers" if that option was on the table. They reflexively just answer whatever the most insane answer is to any question. "Fluoride in the water?" "No. And also, put more lead in the black kids' water!" "Vaccines?" "Fuck no!     You'll never see that represented in any media though. That like 70-80% of the country is pro abortion rights, pro healthcare for all, against wars including any sort of military actions at all, etc. If things were represented closer to reality you'd probably even see some of that 20-30% realize their opinions are legitimately insane and maybe shift away from some of it.
