  • I used to all the time when I worked retail. I'm making fun of the company more than the customer and most of them understand that in my experience

  • Are you implying people don't make jokes like that?

  • I thought this was a shit post at first because same

  • If you can't beat em

  • They're not impossibly cheap. They just require support from a larger group like a government subsidy instead of a single corporation's influence.

If there's nothing wrong with the quality of the product then they're not doing anything wrong. They're just challenging the rest of the world to reduce their prices and increase their quality to beat the competition.

  • I wouldn't say it's boring, but is a B-roll movie. The humor is stupid, there's lots awkward pauses and the acting is subpar. Mostly, you watch it because the movie itself is funny to gawk at rather than anything in the movie being really funny

  • While OneNote for Windows 10 still has roughly half a year, Microsoft will start nagging users with update prompts much earlier. For starters, in June 2025, Microsoft will slow down the app's sync performance, thus forcing customers to ditch the old app, especially those using OneNote on multiple devices or for real-time collaboration.

Next, in July 2025, banners will make their way to OneNote for Windows 10 to make sure users are aware of the upcoming end of support. Microsoft says these banners "could impact users workflows." You do not say, Microsoft.

Wait. You're gonna throttle them and then wait a month to tell them why you're throttling them? What?

  • Looks like it has the ability to poll your accounts periodically to check for notifications. I presume this would then send a push notification, and the most frequent interval is 15 minutes

  • I guess to be fair, most of my time working with electronics was alongside the USN so that makes sense

  • I know you're not wrong but I've always heard that pin called "ground" instead of "earth" in English

  • Go ahead and throw your pixelfed username out here once you've made it. I assume you do furry art at least a bit based off your profile which isn't a super uncommon niche here, probably a few lurkers who'd love to follow

  • chuckles We use dnf here. tips hat and runs

Reformatted, they used the alligator thingies which probably became HTML for your client

  • Solid portmanteau

  • Or even a quick link to the relevant portion of the docs at least would be cool

  • Interesting. I think you're right about it being the monitor, I keep my brightness pretty low because I'm quite photosensitive

  • It's actually possible to pay living wages and charge reasonable prices if you empower your people to work to their limits instead of trying to beat them into doing it.

The company I work for is starting to discover this, and I'm trying really hard to prove it to them as thoroughly as possible

  • Actually doesn't do the thing for me. I know the optical illusion you're going for but this color scheme doesn't trigger it in my brain for some reason. I kind of hate that lmao

  • You're not wrong that it's fairly unlikely that Luigi isn't the adjuster. However, the security stills are the only tangible evidence we have right now and that's not enough to create the condition of "without a shadow of doubt" which is necessary to convict afaik. This is why the jury needs to be unanimous to my understanding

Furthermore, it's why we need to stop talking about him.like he's already been decided to be guilty
