  • If ‘anarcho-Bolshevism’ is used anywhere, it would likely be a contradiction in terms. Bolshevism is defined by its commitment to a centralized vanguard party, while anarchism is defined by its opposition to all centralized authority.

Like, comparing Marxist-Leninist concepts like the Vanguard party, democratic centralism, a transitional state, the dictatorship of the proletariat and the goal of the eventual withering away of the state, I think it’s utterly irreconcilable with Anarchism in general.

Marxism holds that the working class must organize itself into a disciplined party to lead the revolution, use the transitional state to suppress the bourgeoisie, and allow the state to wither away only after class society has been abolished.

Anarchism, in contrast, rejects the transitional state entirely, demands the immediate abolition of all hierarchy, and builds its vision on decentralized federations and direct democracy. No organized vanguard guiding the struggle to speak of. It thus effectively disarms the working class at the moment of revolution. This is why Stalin concluded that anarchists are not genuine revolutionaries.

One text that helped me early on was Stalin’s Anarchism or Socialism

  • Two of my family members (aunt and uncle) are actually police officers. Both are bad people but I personally haven’t talked to them in ages. With one of them I had wonderful conversations a year ago, because they wouldn’t stop saying the n-word or wouldn’t accept that roma and sinti people should also not be called slurs. They also said that they didn’t have anything against immigrants, but that their experiences of having been a professional pig for more than 20 years showed them who was to blame for most crimes (meaning brown people). Apart from that they also always defended police brutality by saying that we never see what happened before those video started.

I’d advise to stay away from them. Since it’s the relatives of a friend of urs, it should be theoretically even easier not to deal with them, no? Regarding seeing them at a protest, it may feel a lil awkward I guess, but apart from that, what does it matter?

  • Those people… I once told a friend of mine that LGBTQ+ ppl generally have it better in China than in the US. Mf said ‘if you’re gay in China you get imprisoned immediatly’ and told me I simply keep regurgitating propaganda I see on the internet. People like that are exposed to anti-communist propaganda for such a long time and to such a high degree, that they simply stopped thinking. They wanna live their simple ass lifes where the west ist the one and only good and everything else bad. There’s a german channel I liked to watch for some time, but they once again made a video about how bad the North Korean government is and how they make porpaganda with social media influencers and whatnot. I cannot listen to that shit anymore fr.
