I have been dipping my toes into meshtastic for the past few months, now having a T-Deck as a home repeater and a small node I carry in my pocket.
Channels can be E2EE if you set it up, but public channels are usually not.
In terms of being trackable, I would venture to say it does not protect you from being tracked. Most devices use a GPS signal to report location (though you can run them without this iirc). Most devices also require a phone in order for you to configure, and read/send messages.
Your best option would be a T-Deck without a GPS module, though as someone has stated in this thread there is a vulnerability allowing tracking of the MAC.
I find it hard to cut out parents regardless of their beliefs. I know my father wishes he had a better relationship with my grandfather and much regret/resentment is held there. My father is full MAGA, and we usually have total disagreements regarding how Elon Trump is tearing apart our nation. That being said, I know for a fact that if all I did was be angry with him and cut him out, and something were to happen to him, I would be filled with regret.
Really into aliens and flourescent things. Took tons of pictures with a black light and highlighter liquid poured into water so it would glow.
Thought I was a cowboy. Had tons of boots, cowboy hats and chewed tobacco. Even raised goats in highschool agriculture courses and subscribed to the typical country boy ideologies ( you can guess what I mean but can proudly say I grew out of that pretty fast in college). tbh raising goats was very fun.
I gave up protein shakes (besides the occasional fairlife 42g on a desperate day) when I realized I could get a hundred grams of protein per meal using either chicken breast or lean ground beef.
Calorie counting is the only real proven way to lose weight over long periods. Also, I am an avid weight lifter and in the middle of a bulk. Calories and macros are extremely important.
Yeah, i stopped watching him for a number of hears when the edgy-ness was in full force. I enjoy his recent content since he has settled down in Japan, but I wont forget the dark years.
This I see the points. Im sure they were clickbait edgy “jokes” but ofcourse someone with such a huge following should not be making these kinds of references. Thanks for the info!
Im pretty sure you are referring to him wearing a british military uniform. Also he did not have anyone say death to all jews. Provide source and I will correct this though.
I find most of his videos to be conspiracy ridden and mostly fluff. As with a few other creators, he talks a ton but doesnt say much. The things he says distract from where we can actually obtain privacy in 2024 - limiting 3rd party collection and sales of our data.
My problem with Loops is the same problem I have with Pixelfed. They are both only maintained by the same one guy. No team, no support besides him. Its only a matter of time before they are dead in the water due to burnout or shifting interest.
You are doing some pretty serious mental gymnastics to find issues with Framework. Most parts are open sourced and easy to get ahold of. The parts availability and ease of replacement are lightyears beyond what most companies do. The replaceable ports are not restricted to buying theirs, many people have dedigned and built their own cheap ports and open sourced them. Try buying a laptop from any other manufacturer, and attempt to replace anything. You will be in a world of struggle. You can almost build an entire Framework directly from their marketplace.
Oh, ans having stakes in a company does not mean ownership.
