  • I was born in Yugoslavia, before the balkan wars (and before Tito died) and when I was in ground school, Kinder-egg drug deals were already old news.

This article is, at least (!) 40 years too late.

  • Whoever does not realize that THIS IS FAR MORE DEVASTATING than any nuclear bomb or even SIGNED capitulation in a war - is nothing else but an utter fool.

  • So, privately proclaimed enforcers are being given classified information by the state institutions, so that they could exercise/execute swift justice to people proclaimed unwanted by the country.

    2 problems here:

    1. This individual is HIGHLY educated person (and should be direly precious to the country)
    2. Nazi germany - 09.November.1938

Congratulations USA, you finally did it. You transitioned.

  • LOL :D

  • Does it not mean Portuguese-Brasilian (Portuguese)?

And it is a Google translate add-on... or am I wrong?

  • TL:DR: Ukraine has been (and probably still is) dominantly corrupted (because they were part of the Soviet Union, which is kind of a paradox).

People do want to live better, but also do not want to die for a country which didn't solve basic problems (like corruption) in the past.

In short, they do not consider it a sacred duty to leave their bones on the altar of mafia (and Ukranian mafia is something reolly special).

It is questionable whether Ukraine was even capable of escaping the Soviet mentality, after the fallout of USSR. Indeed, before Soviet invasion of 2014, most of the people were pro Soviet.

  • I believe there is like a small RFID tote that works. But why? Keys work on so different frequency.

  • It is a somewhat bulky solution, but I've gotten me some RFID card envelopes (sleeves). Very cheap and solved my problem.

I didn't realize how easy it is to scan the card, until I accidentally paid my gasoline with the wrong card. I've had my gasoline card in my right hand and was going for the card terminal, but at the same time i placed my left hand, in which I've had the wallet, next to the terminal. And before I even did anything... ding... ''You have already paid, thank you.''.

Some of my colleagues have RFID wallets and I think that is a great solution, too.

  • In Germany, it is possible to ''make a deposit'' with the bank, so the landlord gets only the confirmation (Bürgschaft). Furthermore, it is also a thing to pay that deposit in rates (installments), not to burden the new tennant immediatelly.

I think it works a lot like insurance: you pay a smidge every month, but you also get no money back at the end, so... not really a deposit. However, it does satisfy the landlord and the deposit is legally provided, so... to give up one or two coffee's every month (for a couple of years) is worth it at the rough beginnings.

For comparisson, you pay some 20 € monthly instead of 3500 € on hands of the landlord. You are moving, you are already burdened with the costs and expenses, so instead of having a financial blow on top of all the misery, you simply walk into the bank, make ''Bürgschaft'' (depost confirmation), agree to pay 20 € monthly, beginning from next month... and you exhale. It is a practical guarantee that the bank wil cover your deposit.

You give that ''Bürgschaft'' (deposit confirmation) to your landlord and all is good. If your landlord later, turns out to be an a..hole, he has to claim the deposit with the bank. If you contest landlords claims (bank will 100% contact you in that case), then it is a direct war between him/her and the bank... and good luck with that. To you it is all the same anyway, as you pay (paid) monthly installment (rate).

If there are no disputes and you are moving out earlier, then you can simply cancel the ''Bürgschaft'' contract (based on canceled rent agreement) and you don't have to pay anymore.

The downside is - no money back.

It is not really a hype thing here, but I've done it and it worked OK; (no disputes though).

  • I still play this a lot... and it is wonderful every time. 😊

  • I believe 2 things happened in Munich:

    1. Germans are rather incompetent and a people of leisure habbits (this is so much true), so getting people to accept the alternative was met with: ''Oh, this button does this now? Well, I guess this is not good then.''. (Yes, I am aware that nation sensible german teenagers will downvote me here... as soon as they are done with their Tik-Tok and 'gram, but truth is brutal here.)
    2. I cannot, for Batman's sake, imagine that Microsoft had nothing to do with failure of the Munich project. I mean, for one such company, it is literally cheaper to bribe every single employee of Munich administration, than to deal with the loss of contract worth hundreds of millions... and the rise of the movement to stray away from their halfproducts.

But I guess there is moment for everything so... I wish S-H good luck. Getting rid of MS can bring only good things. It's not like they are gaming during the working hours. For everything else, MS is really not worth the money.

  • This is underrated comment. XD

  • What is happening in USA now is the future of EU. Armies of illiterate Tik-Tok and Instagram users, choosing to follow self-proclaimed gurus and fake news.

    Measels are the smallest problem.

  • I literally did not buy/straightout refused to buy new Golf because of this crap. It does not get simpler than that: other producer got my money, VW group did not. Period.

Volkswagen should be forbidden to produce anything. There were even touch-SLIDE commands on the steering wheel. God only knows how many lives were lost in accidents, because someone ''touched'' something and switched something off or on. Horrible.

  • I urge you all to do your homework. All these devices are dependable on GPS (which is EXCLUSIVELY US system and a present/gift to the world) and/or your Android/iOS phone (again, EXCLUSIVELY US Systems).

So... replacing those products, just because they are associated with US companies, does nothing. They are produced in Asia, anyway.

It is like refusing to use american spoon to eat american eggs. The eggs are still american.

Don't get me wrong, I am proEU and domestic production, but ditching companies like Garmin has nothing to do with empowering EU production and everything to do with spite. Same goes for Tesla (which, quite honestly, really IS a crappy car).

  • I must contest to these news sources.

Furthermore, out of my own experiences, I confirm that general population of Philippines shares the same support and opinion about the drug problem AND it's handling by Duterte (concensus is generally positive).

  • What you get when you destabilize half of the continent: who the heck would invest anything in a country where laws dont mean a flying hoot and change daily.

With what this fashist doofus did there, one cannot predict the market 5 minutes in advance, let alone make some investment plan.

  • This is not as simple matter as it seems.

Duterte, being already of age when he took the presidency, openly said that ''he is an old guy who has only this one shot to set things right'' before he is out of the picture (and thrown under the train).

And so the war on drugs begun. Philippines are the country of almost 100 million people and the drug world there is ruled by chinese. So one could imagine how Duterte pissed of many ''influential'' chinese. Furthermore, he did allow for controversial law to shoot any drug abusers on site, because this went on to allow every corrupt police officer/official to shoot his snitch (generally either drug user or member of the drug world) in order to protect their own corrupt asses (by shutting the mouth of possible witness).

Things very quickly spiraled out of control and pretty soon it was difficult to hold the reins (although he managed... somehow), however, this also DID efficiently decimate the drug world and chinese influence in Philippines.

I'm not getting into other affairs of his here, but this one is really complex and not to be judged hastily.

On a further note, ICC should not be blowing it's own pipes on Duterte case. Mongolia, for example, did not touch Putin, who really IS a deranged war criminal and mafia kingpin, so there are obviously... people that are ''above the system''. 80 year old Philippine president is, what Klingons would call: not honorable prey.

Crime does not get old and this is, for sure, a good thing. But one should not rush in judgement and know that here is a lot more than meets the eye.
