  • Op, This is the best answer. I've set up a Windows server using this method. I was blown away by how easy proxmox makes the whole thing.

I use rust desk too btw when I need to remote on for maintenance, etc.

  • Grey jay is what I've been using since revanced broke. It's been great for me.

  • Had me a12 pack. I'll grab some every year. It seems like celebration has been getting less dry each year, but the hop profile this year was pretty good. Cheers!

  • Both valheim and project zomboid can be had fire less than $20 each. That leaves some cash left over for a couple dollar games that look interesting.

Both games are amazingly fun and you can get a self hosted server set up for fun with friends... If you have another computer available.

  • I got a friendly elec nanopi r3 that I use as a router. It routes all my Ethernet connected devices, and my consumer mesh network does all WiFi connections.

It's basically a raspberry pi, but they do use their own flavor of os, so I just run it using a fresh image on an SD card. Works no problem and power consumption is minimal.

  • I have a 35lbs CO2 tank in my basement that I use to carbonate 2L at a time of water. Just a pinch of pickling salt makes it super crispy. I think it cost me like $40usd. Some one have me the regulator, and I connect it to a carbonator cap using a Cornelius keg fitting. Tank lasts me years.

  • Also, 3d print services exist if you can find a model that works online... Or if you have a printer a knob if like. 05c worth of filament.

  • Thank you for adding to the conversation. Damn bro, you may as well go back to Reddit with that attitude.

  • Thanks kind of where I'm leaning. Do you know of a track or something that would allow me to pull the storage out?

  • Do you know if a trolley or track product I can install there? I'm in really stages of research, but it does seem that closing that hole and accessing it from the left-hand doorway is a good option if I can figure out how to "move that space" out using some kind of wheels or bearings. Thanks!

  • Lol! Not a bad idea. I was thinking I might put a huge shelf in the area, because if I open that door on the left, I could probably slide it out and access every thing.

  • Agreed. We moved out to "the country" a few months ago and there are a lot of little... "Why'd they do it that way," kind of stuff.

  • Agreed, but then the other 5 feet would equally be inaccessible

  • Sorry I probably didn't explain it very well. Nothing goes in front of where that hole is. The way it works is more like that hole is just there and it reaches all the way to the same wall that my refrigerator is on. If that makes sense, I'll see if I can post another picture

  • Great idea... Except the laundry is on the same floor :(

  • Home Improvement @lemmy.world

    ideas for deadspace behind fridge

  • This response seems to have a strong misunderstand of how the world actually operates.

Also... Where you think the energy to make "cheap Chinese solar panels" is coming from?

Also also, the fact that you're talking about importing from one specific country makes me think... You're from a Western country where they artificially make these things limited? It's good to ask questions like this, but time to grow up. So some real research and see how you can make a genuine impact.

  • I was never banned, but they banned the app I used and their own app is hot garbage. If I need to Google something, I'll still use Reddit, otherwise I'm off it completely.

  • I actually live naps2 for all things scanning related. Give it a try. Cross platform baby!

  • Hell ya. I'm glad you feel really proud about that. I've lead so many garbage trainings, it makes the great ones really stand out!
