So you would not pull the lever. Got it.
Please don’t make a comment talking about your downvotes, it does not make people like you more.
I WILL get myself addicted if a draft gets instated. My family has a predisposition towards addiction, and my life would be ruined either way.
Yeah, but at least here on lemmy a lot of that doesn’t seem to be very serious and everyone is mostly ok with whatever you use. Don’t know how it was on reddit.
… so what doesn’t? Just saying <thing> sucks without saying why or providing a valid alternative is not helping anyone. Rather say something like
“Brave has done some shady things in the past and is based on chromium which is currently doing its best to kneecap adblockers and other privacy tools. If you want a good private browser, you might want to use librewolf instead”.
Well that comtradicts my worldview so I am going to block you I think
Idk, but I am left handed and very bad at mental arithmetic, so based on that anecdotal evidence it checks out I think
I could ask the same. Why would anyone want windows? I haven’t needed windows for anything in years. I run wine for windows stuff(mostly for fun) and it works if you’re competent.
Seriously tho, I care about my privacy somewhat, and a lot of my hardware just doesn’t run windows because it’s too heavy. I also dislike the lack of control I have over windows and can’t work with the windows DE in general.
I also switched to an Icelandic keyboard so I can type ð þorn and eð, and ðen found out ðat people hate it when you use ðem.
Only found out yesterday that most phone keyboards have it by default, and I’m making the most of it.
Looking at the content of the message and the name of the source, I thought this had to be satire. But the site seems to be an actual news site, and other news sites corroborate the story. Which brings me to the question I wanted to ask:
What the fuck‽
Wait, my keyboard could type an interrobang all along‽
Fun fact! If you read this backwards, you get “bewb abmi ybmats aprez”. In Dutch, this phrase has no meaning. Until next time!
While this is not that hard to do if you’re used to linux, I would not reccommend this to someone who is switching from windows.
I’m now using s6, which is great because nobody is using it so the best documentation is some random github page for running daemons with nix using various init programs.
