Most of the fun communities I've found are pretty dead so my feed is just full of world and tech news that is usually sad, aggravating, or misleading. No, I don't need another story of battery technology I'll never use on my feed.
This and just so much negativity. I'm not saying the posts are wrong, but I often leave this site feeling worse than when I got on. It has the shortest daily app timer on my phone. Not good for engagement or growth
Was making a joke. You're right they're the same games but for collectors they want the wall of stuff to admire. I buy a lot of digital games but still get a lot physical for the shelf
I genuinely think a lot of people are just scared of liking it. The repression in the US is crazy in a lot of areas lol. "Can't have anything feel good on the no-no-hole"
I'd argue carrying cash or a debit is important for small businesses and things like the farmers market to save them from credit card fees. Otherwise I completely agree with you; everything goes on the credit
Sorry I was not justifying the product. I misunderstood the convo and was just talking about using a press and not throwing away what's left in the press. My bad!
Not the paper. I peel the paper off, then crush the garlic in the press. That squeezes the "flesh" of the clove out and then the "skin" is left and I toss that in there
edit: though I have heard the skin is ok to use and have even seen people grind it to use it as garlic powder but I skeptical of how much flavor that truly adds for the work..
Its not wasted unless you want an absolute fine mince. If I'm making an already chunky soup, I'll press the garlic and take what's left and toss it in anyways
I found it brilliant. It illustrates that they detained people even though they had been deemed by god as good people. They didn't care and still went "just doing their jobs". It pushed the bit to and extreme that it doesn't matter if the people are good or even supposed to be where they are,, they're detained by profiling. Which is true
While I support using less fossil fuels, this is a terrible way to do it. We should not welcome things that require us to pay a subscription to continue using physical goods we paid for and own.
What are the movies that haven't gotten releases you've wanted? For me anything I've wanted has gotten a release lately, but I don't watch the most niche movies. So perhaps that's my confirmation bias
They come out with new releases all the time. Brick and mortar stores just don't always carry them. In the past year Target and Best Buy stopped. Here's a list of physical media that came out this week: https://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=36930
You know, I was really hoping people would just use the existing tools rather than AI. You used AI instead of the fucking paint bucket tool in ANY photo/drawing tool. Unbelievable
Weird movie from A24 but I'll take it
