I just started watching last week, already half way through season 2. It truly is some of the best sci-fi tv ever made. I will die mad that Raised by Wolves got cancelled but Foundation is the closest i think another show has come to it.

Meat is everywhere, you never get a chance to be sensitized to it. Even living in a completely meat free house for over a decade it’s still always in your face when you go out. And it’s honestly not worth your breath to argue with people. I’ve moved a handful of people significantly left but only ever managed to budge one on meat. And even then she went back to meat vas soon as she thought being vegetarian was effecting her health instead of putting any effort into figuring it out.

I just watched that a few weeks ago when i was on swords and sorcery kick. I agree with all your points about it’s flaws but i still loved it. Unfortunately digging around i found very few other movies in the genre. If you’re looking for animated Gandahar is decent, everything else i found was unwatchably bad. (Assuming you’re already familiar with lotr (1978)) Love death and robots is probably the only other modern thing that comes close to scratching the itch. For live action if you’re fine with pure cheese Sorceress (1982) is so bad it’s good. If you find anything worth watching in your search let me know, i can’t get enough.

I also read a bunch of the original Conan stories, most of them are actually pretty good.

if you’re paying union dues you’re entitled to full union representation. How quantity that is varies office to office but if your local fucks you you can try and escalate it.

Not pushing you to try anything but weed strains have come a long way in the past twenty years. There are strains now specifically to avoid and help with anxiety. I know several people who have your problem and once they picked up the right strain they had a vastly different experience.

Turns out an 8 hour postal route takes closer to 11 when you follow every bullshit rule. Only took a couple days, with scores of customer complaints about not getting their mail, to get management off our backs.
