  • It always pisses me off when people try claiming they want to do that last part.

Not a single thing is stopping them from setting up support networks that, while I disagree with their politics, could legitimately do good by giving new families resources. But that's not actually what they want, it's never been what they want. Because if it was, they'd have done it already.

It's as simple as the cruelty is the point. Someone doesn't live their life exactly how they think it should be lived, they believe that person should be punished.

  • Not with that attitude

  • I don't think that's the most likely outcome, but I could definitely see it happening and actively am hoping for it.

  • To be completely fair, this is the sort of thing he's done for forever now. A significant portion of his wealth comes from simply licensing the Trump name

  • You mean to tell me liberals sided with fascists over conceding literally anything to the left? Well I never!

  • Shampoo bottle label, obviously.

  • I would say that's an accurate description for a barbie doll that explodes personally.

  • I'm sure this varies a lot from district to district, but the districts that I have teacher friends in, they've been using Chromebooks almost exclusively for the better part of a decade now

  • The most common explanation I've seen, and imo it makes sense, is that things mostly just work now. Even XP required a helluva lot more troubleshooting and messing with stuff to make it work than today. So you not only have a bunch of people that have no troubleshooting experience, a large portion don't even know how to properly search for things.

On the flip side, you have a lot more people doing insanely impressive stuff at a lot younger ages because if you have the drive to do it, there's more material to learn than ever out there.

  • Not a single US city was ever attacked by an enemy nation.

This is definitely an um ackushally, but the Brits did burn the capitol.

  • I'm sure the likely CTE doesn't help

  • Basically how I imagine it's going to be for along time. Federal is mostly nothing but damage control, state is the same depending on where you are, local is where you have the most impact

  • Frankly, that shouldn't be limited to women. That's abhorrent behavior, and frankly it speaks volumes about each and every one of his voters.

  • Got an invite to the playtest from a friend recently.

I should not have accepted it. This game is going to consume my soul

  • I'm shocked that the guy that very clearly doesn't see women as human thinks they won't remember all the awful shit he's done to make their lives worse.

  • I'm going to be honest. Outside of elderly relatives on the cognitive decline, the "inability" to transfer files to a SD card is nothing other than laziness. Any functioning person that's capable of making themselves a PB&J sandwich is more than capable of it. They choose to all of a sudden be stupid the moment a computer enters the discussion. It's a choice made purely out of laziness.

  • Bingo. They know everything they stand for is unpopular. They have to rely on the electorate being stupid to win. And through long hard fought efforts to cripple the Missouri education system as much as possible, it's a pretty reliable bet.

  • Not to get too serious, but someone brought up the point regarding all these drone firework shows, usually in part created out of respect of veterans with PTSD. I really wonder if drone warfare will end up with the same effect. I really hope not, no one deserves that

  • I too support traditional values in Russia

Specifically the traditional values of steppe nomads absolutely kicking Russia's teeth in.

Yes, I'm aware it wasn't called Russia at the time
