No I've mostly just used jackett and qbt's default searchers. I used to use tixati in the past and that was great, with share searching and text chat communities
I tried to buy digital copies of an album the other day and couldn't because it was only on streaming services and DRM'd to all shit, so I just pirated it instead.
Trolling aside, Sometimes windows games run faster than Linux games... On Linux.
I remember switching from win10 and trying to continue playing Deus Ex MD and the native version had framedrops and a lower fps than what I was used to. I forced proton compatibility in steam to make it use the windows version and it ran significantly better. The real kicker is that when I compared the benchmarks, it was performing better than the windows version on windows.
And I was one of those crazy powerusers who micro-managed services and did policy & registry tweaks to get improved and more consistent performance... Yet Linux kicked its ass out of the box and through a compatibility layer...
But that's just an anecdote of one case. Some run better, some run worse. Depends on how much effort the devs put in, and dumb luck.
Grifter's gotta grift. But it's a good windsock for gauging where the popular winds are blowing. Dems are in the best position to capitalize on the shift, but I'm sure they'll find new and innovative strategies to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory again, since they're owned by capital.
Trump ally Andrew Tate was even more blunt, writing, “NOBODY WANTS THIS WAR, ” before adding, “War transfers wealth from the working class to the banking class. So does fraud and inflation. The working class man simply cant catch a break and is endlessly wrecked. This is The Matrix - extraction from the populace to feed a machine minded host. Heartless.”
I was all alone with my highschool English teacher during lunch and he played maggot brain from his speakers while i wrote a few pages of a novel. That was my introduction to Parliament and Funkadelic. Best teacher ever.
Do people actually use Pinterest? It just looked like corporate SEO bait that sells itself to investors by getting other companto try and ram it down people's throats. If you told me it was a front for an ad money laundering scheme and the site functions didn't actually work, I'd have believed you
The USA watched Russia fuck itself from global power to regional power by instigating a proxy war without a proxy. We all thought the US was laughing while they got invaluable data and political currency... But in reality I guess it was a more of a "hold my beer" moment. Now China is watching the USA get ready to do the same thing.
You can especially since flakes are still experimental technically, but I really like being able to track the lockfile in git, have a bunch of systems/homes/packages/overlays all stored together, and mixing&matching various inputs (e.g. very easily handle multiple versions of nixpkgs in the same config)
The modularity, if built properly, is pretty nice. I can just tell my friend to run a console command aimed at my flake repo and boom they have my exact mpv package and configuration with customized settings; and if they like it they can just copy one or two files and make it their own.
Yeah and this isn't exclusive to dev tools. Shit like that is why I run umatrix in strict mode with JS disabled by default.
