How is this not racist/xenophobic? (yeah, I know "American" isn't a race). You make this kind of comic for any other country, and a rational person would be like "yeah, that's...pretty racist."
I didn't notice it at the time, but AIM away messages were basically like proto-Twitter long before actual Twitter became a thing. Some people would always be "away" so their inspirational crap would show since AIM still let you chat like normal while "away".
vaguebooking that would involve lame-ass "motivation quotes" or worse song lyrics that were obviously about some dramatic thing happening in their life
You've just described like 90% of the AIM away messages in high school lol.
In what aisle in Coscto would I find one of those? Asking for a friend.
In all fairness, my HOA isn't that bad. They're more annoying than totalitarian. HOA President Commander Toreth is actually pretty nice. Weirdly, all the people close to my age (mid 40's) like her, and all of her Boomer peers seem terrified of her. I kinda want to know the story there. Like... is she former (or current emeritus) Tal-Shiar?
Maybe just that model? I've got an X1 carbon. It expects 45W and will run from anything that spits out 20V. Even hooked it into a 20W power bank. It complained that the supply was below expectations and that the battery might not charge but it worked.
Damn that looks good. I went vegetarian about 4 years ago and, while I have no regrets, I do miss pulled pork...like, a lot. I'm totally gonna enjoy those sandwiches vicariously through you lol.
I loved the simplicity of it. It did one thing, and did it well enough.
They had an early mobile app (BREW I think), but it was pretty awful.
I think SMS gaining popularity killed it, and they were too early for the "What's App" era that ultimately killed SMS in a lot of places.
